As someone who joined during aurora, I love shattering. Adding the shard evens into the game puts it high on my list, and the memories are beautiful, interesting and pretty unique. I understand, however, that during the actual seasons run it didn't live up to others.
Prophesy do have some epic cosmetics and was the first season I 100% completed and had the Season Pass. Anubis mask is one of my favourite masks but I don’t wear it much because my friend gets jealous when I wear it 🤣😅
same!! I started just when sanctuary was ending and I managed to get all of prophecy. To this day I still use my anubis mask 24/7 and my 2 fav pants. fire pants and 2024 days of fortune pants
So sanctuary I was a moth and a bit confused. But the music, the atmosphere yeah, I get it. But my favourite season is still dreams coz it was fun and captivating, followed by prophecy, there is a reason there are loads of trials videos…it’s a challenge and difficult, different and was a complete shock at the time! Little Prince was my first season, and also my favorite! It's just so nostalgic to go to Starlight Desert for me! Have to agree though, moff me was so sad to have boring capes for so long

Dreams, abyss, little prince, assembly, and sanctuary are definitely my favorites! The first 4 were great overall, their stories and the cosmetics were all iconic. Sanctuary is a bit of a hit or miss, but i adored its relaxing summer vibe.
Season of Prophecy is my favourite (trials -- one love!) However I'll put Season of Shattering for the best cosmetics. It's like Season of Sanctuary 2.0. Also these voids are really cool and breathtaking.

Mi temporada favorita definitivanente es Santuario, es la primera vez que veo que alguien opina igual que yo. Para los que jugamos esa temporada fue una locura que agregaran una nueva zona tan amplia, con desafios en forma de acertijos que se completaban ahí mismo, la cantidad de gente que se unió a Sky en esa época y muchas cosas más. Fue la primera temporada de Sky que jugué en serio y completé, para muchos esta temporada marcó un antes y un despues en Sky y por eso le tenemos tanto cariño.
Wow! How you described sanctuary really made me tear up. It was my first sky season and the time where i met all of my closest friends in sky, it was literally my sanctuary during the time where isolations and quarantine were around. It was a whole new experience that i never thought i’d have with a game, a connection built with friends from places i’ve never been. Farming wax, fooling around with the crabs and complaining about reliving the grumpy spirit (😅)…. Truly it was the best and most memorable season of all.
Flight was my favorite, but I highly agree with your points. There isn’t much to do after the season or during it outside of the story and it disappointed me (if you count using the Wind Paths as a shortcut to other seasonal areas), which is why while Performance isn’t my favorite, it still had revisiting and staying potential with the stage. Shattering was interesting, but disappointed me with how vague the story was to me, which is weird because the story when you start out was a bit vague to begin with. I started out during Assembly and I’m glad that it was my first because it was such a cute season with interesting emotes, cosmetics, and story that gives you the idea of what you can do in the world; helping others fix things and seeing the result. Enchantment definitely has some of the best emotes in the game. Aurora gave me the most emotion and love in my soul and made me appreciate the artist way more than I initially did. The concert is just one of the best things I’ve ever seen in the game.
I liked the windpath quests unlocking every shortcut they were the quests I was most exited about and the dangerous quests with the blockade, the green sky and the light animals was such good for me

Shattering as last is objectively wrong- -Cosmetics were/ARE GORGEOUS -Event, not only is it decently fun, but it has useful rewards long term (Not needing to run through eden everytime you need ascended candles) -Gave us a chill space to fly around in (Memories after the event) -Made eden feel like more of a threat rather than being condensed to one world -Joins skys overall gameplay and lore better -Oh yea, the cosmetics are GORGEOUS

Too many of the cosmetics are expenisve. The game feels like it has no foundation to it story wise and just relies on candle runs and cosmetics that you practically have to pay to play. I can't keep doing candle runs, its so infuriating, time consuming, and tedious just for 20 max per day.
I agree the cosmetics are way too expensive, especially the ones that are years old for some reason. but I think the story being light is fine; it's fun to fill in the gaps and have your own interpretations on things. Though it would be nice to have something like the little prince again. Personally, I don't think the game is all about the expensive cosmetics or candles. My favorite part of the game is being able to fly around and explore new areas or remixes of old areas. I get if people find it boring, theres only so many places to explore, but I think the new events they add make it fun to keep revisiting it.

The only spirits being TS are going to be the ones from the earlier seasons???
I'm not sure if you have made a video on this yet, but I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the seasons losing their spark and how they became more formulaic. You mentioned it a few times in the video, and I agree especially with the newer seasons. Anyways, Love this content!❤
air can be easy if you have patience, the earth trial maze isnt really confusing earth was just painful to me as jumping was difficult as a small moth, and fire trial is also pretty easy If you have your brightness up and are in a fairly dim room, water trial is just easy lol. I memorized the fire trial trail so I was a fire trial taxi for a while it as fun.
I joined litrally when the aurora concert happened. I really enjoyed the concert but I was so confused as I didn't know that wasn't the whole game. I then didn't play it till May 23. I've enjoyed going through the past seasons so far. I'm looking forward to aurora coming back next month. I did end up in the glitch the other day in the stadium which was amusing

I hated the Assembly season a lot. Pls don't judge me, I came to Sky right before the season of Shattering and doing Assembly quests was really frustrating to me as a solo-player 😢
yeah flight was cool to me, definitely great cosmetics and I actually liked the wind paths, they just made it easier to travel to some of the more obscure places of sky. I didnt play shattering, as you said it as during a time when everyone was getting burnt out and I mean the cosmetics looked cool to me but I didnt want to work for them so yeah. overall I mostly agree with your list here.
As a moth, I was born in the season of Belonging, and as a little moth I didn't understand what I was doing just yet, and went through that phase from Rhythm to Enchantment .. Sancutary, was my only season I bought the season pass for, and is my FAVORITE season of them all. I FULLY believe it deserved that first place. None other seasons besides I'd say Aurora has been able to hold that spark as Sanctuary did when it released years ago. After a year or more of being hiatus from Sky, I've come back to see all my old friends are gone, and are now replaced with anew. And it is sad they they weren't able to witness the true magic of the older seasons when they were live. ♥
I was a Sanctuary moth and everything that's been told in the video is true, I met a lot of so many friends. And it was super fun! No need to grind candles and no pressure. That season feels like the golden age of the game and it holds a special place in my heart. I loveee the cosmetics! (Even thought I wasn't able to get the ultimate- The INSTRUMENT ONE 😭).
I don’t really understand what a season is still like I’m confused how that works lol but from your list shards is a whole lot of fun for me! I even go to the shards events to help people just because lol I wish there were MORE memories though, they were so pretty and TERRIFYING to look at!

I just wish they would bring back Aurora as a traveling spirit for all who missed out. I adore her music and just recently joined the community. It hurts that you can't experience the concert without the wings and I need them. After being graciously taken into the concert by a friend who had the wings, I don't know how ya'll aren't in there every day. It was the most stunning and moving experience that captured the essence of the game and it's purpose and story. Her music felt apart of the game before she was. I just... am so sad I don't experience Aurora like the OG players got to. I would even purchase the wings if that's all they brought back. ugh I'm just so sad.
I looooved shattering. I would stay up until reset to find out where the shard would hit, and i would hang out in the season chat in the official discord. It really felt collaborative. And i really liked the ultimate gifts 😁 Although, i might be biased; i joined sky at the end of Performance, so Shattering was my first full season 😅
Sanctuary was where we all meet up,when everyone was so lost,can be boring for some but its the most relaxing and the season that we needed that time in 2020. .i lost my old account and still get devastated everytime i remember. Up until now, sanctuary babies are still trying to cope up even after lightseeker friends were completely gone n MIA😂
Assembly was my first and I regret not playing sky sooner the pheniox cape and the dance coat cape are my fav in the game so I can’t wait for him to come back at a ts 😭

omg compleeeeetely disagree 🤣 Shattering and Performance were amazing, and I'm extremely sad I missed Flight and Assembly - the cosmetics with ULTs and realms are ✨️fantastic✨️ to me, Aurora would've been one of the last if it wasn't for the concert and emotes.. Performance is #1 for me, though that's probably because I wasn't a player during Sanctuary 🙈 Dreams is is a very very close one for me too, the realm is ✨️breathtaking✨️
Also I disagree about Japanese metro systems being confusing. They are complex yes but they are so well organized and logical that I found it easier to travel alone in Japan than in New York 😂
I had written the script about 2 weeks after the release of Remembrance, however after completing the season a few months later, this would have been 15th on this list. I did not like performance because I found it very boring, I kinda stopped playing Sky around then, and personally did not like the cosmetics (apart from the guitar) so I didn’t rate it that high.
L opinion on remembrance tbh the quests were extremely lackluster but the area was a nice addition to vault imo and the ultimate gift has got to be one of the best ultimates in the game, not only because of functionality but because of the aesthetics which is what the game kind of strives for.
As a player that joined sky during the season of enchantment(unfortunately i lost my account during the season of moments 💀) my personal favourite season is the season of the little prince
the hair from air trial spirit one on prophecy still being my favorite even since i became moth and they appear as a traveling spirit. the worst thing from prophecy only the trial that bring pain of ass. i was good at doing water, earth and air anyway. right after i've crying when i first try it. but fire??? mehh i still can't beat it.
Sanctuary was my first real season but prophecy was my first FULL season. Though I disagree with a third of the list (I personally put abyss, prophecy and LP lower and performance and assembly higher) I do agree with most of your takes
i agree with season of flight i saw myself getting bored while playing it which is really rare while playing sky its just so big and navigating it took soooo much time and i still haven't gotten everything there
I find it ironic that you put Season of Shattering down for not having new emotes or a new area like every other season, aka them changing it up a bit, and then when discussing Season of Performance you state that a lot of players quit because seasons were too similar and followed the same formula.
i remember suffering through the trials when they came out. sky is NOT ment to be played on mobile. god a controller makes it so much better. its funny that the trails gave me so much problems when now the shortcuts make them part of candle runs :D
it's crazy to me how the team downgraded their mask designs like ??? the early seasons had amazing masks, specially gratitude being the most unique, and then.... after prophecy tbh it all became boring as hell including most ult gifts :(
I play since gratitude so to my personal opinion gratitude till prophecy were so good all came after the community changed so much as newer player ( like by Now “ newer vets got so rude and arrogant it started to become like a hierarchy in the game wich make the community on time so toxic ) that for when little price came and what to like them much because they were different and bought some diversity among especially shattering forced people help together till a point some just also sat or stand wait like others at granny or sanctuary let others do all never help …. Sadly it’s onto some individual people and their view of themselves that makes sadly the community more and more rotten
They really should do an undertale or deltarune collab. There could be a cosmetic where it makes you look like straight up bones. Like a normal height will look like papyrus, and chibi would look like sans
@@XKGenerations You can generally look up the shortcuts but the key is the chibi mask from the hide and seek pioneer. Not only is it helpful for Eden, but it allows you to cut through walls in certain parts of the game. This guy however is probably hacking the game to do it in fifteen minutes but they call it shortcuts to keep from being banned. Find the right hacker friend and you can candle run in fifteen minutes too.
Season of dreams is my fav! As a moth I loved skating around the mini ice rink in home space (I think we only had it near Christmas season) so I was super excited when I discovered that the village of dreams had a huge ice skating rink✨ Plus the cosmetics you can get are just 🤌🤌🤌

Gratitude, lightseekers, enchantment, sanctuary, little prince and shattering were most enjoyable for me they where unique in their own way.
The animal crossing and Zelda music in the background was throwing me off and I didn’t know where I was 😵
As a moth, I was born in the season of Belonging, and as a little moth I didn't understand what I was doing just yet, and went through that phase from Rhythm to Enchantment .. Sancutary, was my only season I bought the season pass for, and is my FAVORITE season of them all. I FULLY believe it deserved that first place. None other seasons besides I'd say Aurora has been able to hold that spark as Sanctuary did when it released years ago. After a year or more of being hiatus from Sky, I've come back to see all my old friends are gone, and are now replaced with anew. And it is sad they they weren't able to witness the true magic of the older seasons when they were live. ♥

I was a Sanctuary moth and everything that's been told in the video is true, I met a lot of so many friends. And it was super fun! No need to grind candles and no pressure. That season feels like the golden age of the game and it holds a special place in my heart. I loveee the cosmetics! (Even thought I wasn't able to get the ultimate- The INSTRUMENT ONE 😭).

For some reason (if there's any) my favourite season is lightseekers even though I haven't played during it. idk maybe I just like the spirits , the lore and theories about them and yes , cosmetics are also one of my favourite
I just wish they would bring back Aurora as a traveling spirit for all who missed out. I adore her music and just recently joined the community. It hurts that you can't experience the concert without the wings and I need them. After being graciously taken into the concert by a friend who had the wings, I don't know how ya'll aren't in there every day. It was the most stunning and moving experience that captured the essence of the game and it's purpose and story. Her music felt apart of the game before she was. I just... am so sad I don't experience Aurora like the OG players got to. I would even purchase the wings if that's all they brought back. ugh I'm just so sad.
I looooved shattering. I would stay up until reset to find out where the shard would hit, and i would hang out in the season chat in the official discord. It really felt collaborative. And i really liked the ultimate gifts 😁
Although, i might be biased; i joined sky at the end of Performance, so Shattering was my first full season 😅
Sanctuary was where we all meet up,when everyone was so lost,can be boring for some but its the most relaxing and the season that we needed that time in 2020.

Performance is #1 for me, though that's probably because I wasn't a player during Sanctuary 🙈 Dreams is is a very very close one for me too, the realm is ✨️breathtaking✨️

I had written the script about 2 weeks after the release of Remembrance, however after completing the season a few months later, this would have been 15th on this list.
I did not like performance because I found it very boring, I kinda stopped playing Sky around then, and personally did not like the cosmetics (apart from the guitar) so I didn’t rate it that high.
L opinion on remembrance tbh the quests were extremely lackluster but the area was a nice addition to vault imo and the ultimate gift has got to be one of the best ultimates in the game, not only because of functionality but because of the aesthetics which is what the game kind of strives for.
As a player that joined sky during the season of enchantment(unfortunately i lost my account during the season of moments 💀) my personal favourite season is the season of the little prince

the hair from air trial spirit one on prophecy still being my favorite even since i became moth and they appear as a traveling spirit.
the worst thing from prophecy only the trial that bring pain of ass. i was good at doing water, earth and air anyway. right after i've crying when i first try it. but fire??? mehh i still can't beat it.
Sanctuary was my first real season but prophecy was my first FULL season. Though I disagree with a third of the list (I personally put abyss, prophecy and LP lower and performance and assembly higher) I do agree with most of your takes

i agree with season of flight i saw myself getting bored while playing it which is really rare while playing sky its just so big and navigating it took soooo much time and i still haven't gotten everything there

I find it ironic that you put Season of Shattering down for not having new emotes or a new area like every other season, aka them changing it up a bit, and then when discussing Season of Performance you state that a lot of players quit because seasons were too similar and followed the same formula.

i remember suffering through the trials when they came out. sky is NOT ment to be played on mobile. god a controller makes it so much better. its funny that the trails gave me so much problems when now the shortcuts make them part of candle runs :D

it's crazy to me how the team downgraded their mask designs like ??? the early seasons had amazing masks, specially gratitude being the most unique, and then.... after prophecy tbh it all became boring as hell including most ult gifts :(
I play since gratitude so to my personal opinion gratitude till prophecy were so good all came after the community changed so much as newer player ( like by Now “ newer vets got so rude and arrogant it started to become like a hierarchy in the game wich make the community on time so toxic ) that for when little price came and what to like them much because they were different and bought some diversity among especially shattering forced people help together till a point some just also sat or stand wait like others at granny or sanctuary let others do all never help …. Sadly it’s onto some individual people and their view of themselves that makes sadly the community more and more rotten

@@XKGenerations You can generally look up the shortcuts but the key is the chibi mask from the hide and seek pioneer. Not only is it helpful for Eden, but it allows you to cut through walls in certain parts of the game. This guy however is probably hacking the game to do it in fifteen minutes but they call it shortcuts to keep from being banned. Find the right hacker friend and you can candle run in fifteen minutes too.

Season of dreams is my fav! As a moth I loved skating around the mini ice rink in home space (I think we only had it near Christmas season) so I was super excited when I discovered that the village of dreams had a huge ice skating rink✨
Plus the cosmetics you can get are just 🤌🤌🤌
