Linklight returns to the workshop for Rivals of Aether which gives you access to custom new characters or mods! In this video I check out Sanic which is the popular sonic meme but now a playable character. There was a lot of funny references including shrek, dat boi and tom from tom and jerry.

Hey, Mister Goose? How well are you at drawing? I really need to learn, because I'm going to launch the reveal video of my new animated television (Except it's on RUclips) series... There's just one problem... One, I have no program except Blender to create animated videos with drawing, and two, I'm not good at drawing... And one more question: What do you think a Sinoc the Hodgeheg would look like?
This character looks like another one of those low-quality characters, but in reality it's one of the most high-quality workshop items on Steam.

Thanks for checking this out! This was very unexpected. Here’s some things you may not have noticed.
- each jab is a sonic pose (some adventure pose, smash ultimate render, sonic 06 box art)
- you can grab dorito with bair
- bair and down b can be turned around
- up b can be used up to 3 times before needing to be refilled
- those random yells were from sanic getting hurt
- those last 5 alts were ocs from us devs and a friend
- the “fests” are how fast you are going, as sanic can gain up momentum to go really fast (up to 69 fests)
- probably more stuff I forgot. There was an update like yesterday or the day before that that added some new stuff
Again, huge thanks for checking out Sanic. Though I’m not exactly a member of the team that made this (though I did contribute a lot to sanic, hence being seen along the main two devs DonGT and Mr. G), I do know that they’ve got a few future characters you may enjoy to see!

You know, when I watch these videos, I realize more and more how talented these Rivals of Ather mod creators are. They put so much love and effort into their characters. Where else would you be able to see Sanic summon Shrek, Dat Boi, Doge and a bunch of giant Doritos all in one match?

Just beautiful, couldn't be any better from how he is.
This is basically filled with meme references from the 420 blaze it era, someone also made a memed filled FPS game (69 part wasn't really a thing from what I remember, but I can be wrong about it). Although Sonic in a ball form is from a game called Sanicball or Sonicball which you play as a character in ball form to race against NPCs or Players.... Fun times.
