- These videos are aimed at providing examples of some of the different components of psychotherapy. These scenarios depicted are completely fictional. The therapist is a clinical psychology registrar. The client is a provisional psychologist.
I like this. I think it's very good and the therapist has a vibe.
Don't get the negative comments, seem's to me you did a good job at listening to the client, responding back what they are going through and then asking them to reflect further "how did that make you feel".
I hope to be able to interact thoroughly with the clients that I get assigned.
How about some mirroring and also not taking notes
What a complete and utter waste of time.
Other than regurgitating what the customer has said and saying "sure" has no therapeutic value at all.
Client ... not customer hahahahaha...it isn't Mcdonalds. The more you talk about what you're going through (client), and the less the therapist speaks the better...that's therapy.
It may not have been a waste of time for the person talking. He's expressing how he feels and that's helpful. You have to give it time. It's part of a process.
