This is how laptop reviews should be like. Well done.

This is a trend that IS the future. In 5 years if Chinese are smart they will produce their own PC that would be modular and can change parts. That would save tons of money on repairs because you can detect a problem and just change a module instead of changing an entire laptop. That would also mean that they would need to also make keyborard exchangeable or at least standardized so that you can go out and replace your old one cheaply. This is the future.

@@reyjude7289 I think that people have them on google drives. I do not know how to do it exactly. Google it a bit, it will pop up. People put tons of stuff of their own google drives that we can access freely.

I hope this will be available for the mass market, or at least to anyone who can afford it & use it to its fullest!

You can look up your local Panasonic retailer for details on that.

All of this? For only $2100 USD? Not bad.

Toughbook CF series is tougher, had 8 of these at work, 1 returned with a damaged screen (never would have happened with a CF30/31), 2 returned for water damaged keyboards (again, never would have happened with the CF series) AND Panasonic had the cheek to charge us for repairs even though these were under warranty. This series is only splash-proof NOT waterproof and would never stand up to any kind of serious impact. I drove a car over a CF31 and it still works! The '55' would never take that kind of punishment, overpriced, overpriced add-ons and not durable enough for 'field' work.

Definitely a nice product. Especially for those of us who give importance to quality over beauty. I do not care for a slim design and small bezels. I only hope this laptop should have a workstation level graphics card. The AMD graphics card they are giving is quite old and not competitive. If they can pack a new 'h' (not u) level Intel chip with a considerably good graphics card(>1660ti), this will be my next travelling companion.
On the other hand, what is your take on the graphics card provided with this laptop and the color accuracy of the screen?

What drivers are needed to use the graphics card properly? He mentions drivers to make it work, I just can't find them

It has lower end processors in it because they run cooler and since it’s pretty much just passive cooled into the chassis that’s a requirement

I WOULD GO for the Dell Latitude Rugged 5420. More durable and quality. Problems I had with the CF-54/55 is the front latch breaks and is not quality made. And when you replace it, you have to replace the whole LCD screen because the latch is built into to front bezel and LCD. Internal Battery also does not last. Junk for a pricey laptop in my OPINION.

It looks like you work in the office, there is no point to own one for you.
