Dell Rugged 5420 is way durable and better. Common issue with the new toughbook thin/slim design, the front latch always breaks. You have to replace the whole lcd screen when replacing the front latch. Happened to me twice. I would say the handle, front latch, how it is built is flimsy.
I am really keen to know if this is a wacom style stylus - eg. if you hover the stylus above the screen, does the mouse arrow move with the pen? Or does the mouse cursor only move when the stylus touches the screen? The only thing it seems to be missing is a trackpoint mouse.
The fz-55 officially supports up to 64GB ram, 2TB ssd (4TB if you install a second one in the xpak bay) and has a 1920x1080p 1000 nit screen The cpu is also considerably more powerful, being an i5-1145G7
