Hello. Very nice tutorial. However, at 2:11 you make another step with the empty grid, when i try to do the same thing, no new step appears. What can be wrong?
Nice tutorial. I used it for a lighthouse, so far so good. But I've ran into a problem. If you don't mind me asking, is it possible to narrow the stair case to a narrowing cylinder? I'm stumped at this point. Thank you.
don't know if you're still working on this but you can shift+a to make a lattice, scale it to the size of the tower, then use a lattice modifier and scale the top of the lattice inward, that way its non-destructive and editable later in the process

make your object orgin in 3d cursor then it will works.

where is the "loop tools" setting
It's an add-on that you can find in the Preferences menu. Just search 'loops' in order to find it and then toggle it on to activate it.
