Richard the Lionheart’s attempts to take Jerusalem by force were failing - so he resorted to negotiation with his Muslim enemy, unheard of in the Crusades. He even befriended Salah al-Din’s brother and tried to arrange a marriage between him and Richard’s sister. Despite the growing friendship between the two men Richard became impatient and decided the only way he would ever get Jerusalem was through war so he marched on the holy city only to turn back at the last minute. Six months later he marched on Jerusalem once more, only to turn back at the last moment. Salah al-Din sensed his opportunity and attacked the Crusader port of Jaffa.
At the last minute Richard redeems himself and becomes Christendom’s hero by rushing to rescue Jaffa with only a handful of men. He is such a great warrior no Muslims dare fight him. After the bloodshed of Jaffa both men were ill and exhausted. Richard returned to England. The Holy Land was divided up between the two faiths, but Jerusalem remained in the hands of Salah al-Din.

The commentary from the muslim side has been utterly nonsense. I urge those interested to research what islam teaches firstly. Then one can tell where salahdin drew the line between islam and humanity. Dont forget also, mohd came to jerusalem on a flying donkey that nobody saw and actually he was poisoned and thats how he died. So do us a favour.
