Snowshoeing is a wonderful activity to have an immersive experience walking in the snow away from all the crowds in a ski resort. It is ecofriendly and has minimal environmental impact, plus you can go to wear the better snow is in the backcountry. WARNING: have adequate clothing, food, water and safety equipment like a personal location beacon (PLB).
