This year was to get everyone that’s playing for him to know how to play his scheme. Why do you think we played pretty trash half the season lol. This second half of the season seems like they are all finally understanding how gruden plays and the raiders are finally playing good now🤷♂️
Specially when he was given a ridiculous 10 yr contract for a coach out of football for more than 10yr. Who was the brainchild behind that fiasco? is not like the raiders needed to reinvent the wheel. Now he is getting rid of the best players, fired the general manager and basically wants to rebuild from the ground up. What does he care he is leaving Oakland and going to Nevada. Maybe he can get Oakland UUps I meant Las Vegas Raiders to the playoffs in the 9th year of his contract lol.

Gruden is one of the most charismatic men in pro football. He has such a presence on the sideline. It takes great leadership to keep your guys playing hard with a 4-11 record. He may be a “ra ra” coach on game day, but what separates him is his knowledge of the game, and his ability to adapt to the game in 2018. He’s a brilliant strategist on both sides of the ball. His game plans, especially the last few games have been excellent in setting up his players for success. If the Raiders can find a good GM, they will have a playoff caliber roster within a few years

Everyone is dumping on this dude for getting rid of Cooper and Mack and having a terrible record but something tells me after a few years of his system being implemented and him getting the players he wants the Raiders might be scary. Gruden is a great football mind.

You talking about contracts is ironic because John Gruden being paid 100 million dollars over the course of 10 years only for him to run this franchise into the ground is a little too much don’t you think? Ok, imma be a bit linient on Gruden. He got rid of 2 players that wanted large sums of money for draft picks. If he can capitalize off of the picks and have good players on rookie contracts than the trading of Mack and Cooper can potentially look good. Plus take into account that last year with Mack and Cooper raiders finished 6-10. So getting rid of them hasn't made to much of an impact. He's trying to go the Bill Belichick route. Give Gruden 2 more years and then we can properly analyize if Gruden is a bad or good coach.
Global Angel gruden always been a great talent evaluator. Give him time he will find the right guys.
