RELIEF PAINTING: Relief is a sculptural technique, where the sculpted elements(CLAY/ TEXTURE PASTE) remain attached to a solid background of the same material.The term relief MEANS to raise.To create a sculpture in relief is to give the impression that the sculpted material has been raised above the background plane.
RELIEF PAINTING can be made in two ways, either cut the surface in one by one layer to create the relief OR create layers on overlapping layers to create the relief.

hI, thanks for very good explaining. However i tried with same quantities but the cone hardened even before i could use it. how can I avoid this?
Do not use POP. It turns very hard as soon as u mix it wit water. Try using ceramic or marble powder. POP n ceramic both r different.
Try using any soft bottle with nozzle such as little oiling bottle. Keep it airtight until you use. But use it within short amount of time.

Hi Neelima. I used the propotions given for the paste however the paste hardened within minutes and i couldnt do much. Pls advise how to prevent it from hardening too fast otherwise the whole paste once hardened goes to waste. Tq

this painting took me about a week to make, and i have used the pop , the same method as i have shown in this video and i made the paste video in one day and used those two cones for a week........

If you use pop you need to mix same amout of fevicol and water as of pop!!

In the cone it dries so fast. Gets hard with seconds and becomes very hard to make designs
