Heaven Studio (Rhythm Heaven) Custom Game - Totem Climb

- Woohoo! This took a time, but it's finally done!
Totem Climb is a Custom Game that, for now, is a Heaven Studio exclusive game! So I'm very happy to share it with all of you!

really nice that you added the triple/double "tonk" audio cues even though the visual cues are enough to know when to switch between patterns. every musical game should do this to include vision impaired people

The background separating the totems by beat is so clever, especially how the triplets were done, this is great

It’s really clever considering how it takes that away from you in the actual game once you get far enough, making you use your rhythm instead of just the background

this is the most official feeling custom game i have ever seen!
I could already imagine an endless mode of this, where after every set it just gets faster and faster like every other endless game

This is genuinely stellar work. I would love an entire indie game with Rhythm Heaven style minigames that hopefully Nintendo wouldn't interfere with because it'd be an original ip with original characters.

This is possible in Rhythm Heaven DS!
Tapping will be like jumping,
The "Ready!" will be holding and flicking the stylus.
Also, it might be inspired by Night Walk in Rhythm Tengoku,
but this one's good and added inputs!
So what happens if you mess up? Is it an instant fail like Night Walk? Or does the character just flail around helplessly like Bunny Hop?

You've got to jump, jump, AND jump a lot if you wish to master the art of jumping! (Ok that may seem redundant, but you'll see what we mean!)
The moving colored walls are… kinda hard to look at. I’m glad the game eventually goes into the clouds.

maybe make all the 3 jumps have the 3 sounds and not just the first one. It could help with the idea of Rhythm Heaven being able to be played with your eyes closed
As the practice says, the cue is for changing the pattern, it will always be the 3 jumps pattern until you hear the other cue

The one pattern that went unused in the final game was the double pattern into super jump into triple pattern.

i've been trying to find the sound heard at 1:50 to sample but I cannot find it anywhere do you know the name of it by any chance. the kind of whistle sound with like a tremolo on it. sounds a bit like an owl ig. i've commented on many other videos with songs that use it but no luck :(.
That sample comes from a library called "Q-Up Arts - Voices of Native America", with filename FLTPF101!
