I have not read the book but have seen the film which I enjoyed. Your review is really good!
I first watched to kill a mockingbird when I was 16 years old I own the film on DVD but I haven't read the book I'm planning on reading this summer Gregory peck totally deserved the oscar
I'd agree, the book is better. But, that's only because the book is an absolutely powerhouse that (because of the way it's written) feels so deeply real and personal, especially at the age I read it. This is absolutely no slight to the film or that the film made any bad choices, it is in all ways excellent - for me it's just a film could not give the same feeling from being in Scout's head, thoughts and experiences.
Well said!
Haven’t been able to make it through the book. I’ve tried a few times, but I get bored. Loved the movie.
You should do The Poseidon Adventure Book vs. Movie.
Both versions are good equally
I'm not surprised that the movie water down certain things because of the time the movie was released and probably because of the production code as well
For an assignment, I've had to look at the old film laws and omg it's so crazy to look at now
Tried twice to read the book but, got bored, movie is favorite of all time!!!!!
