The real magic of The Big Push is that it’s foremost a group of friends that bonded over a shared love for music and they’re just sharing the fun they’re having with the rest of us. The energy is contagious! Even through a screen. Imagine being in the crowd? Some lucky bastards there 😂
At the moment they're doing their own stuff so well. Romain Axisa is one awesome guitarist as is Goran Kendal on bass. Drummer is Glenn Chambers. They're so good together busking or in videos. Brighton busking scene is so good.
Having a blast watching you have continually having your mind blown🤯 Each of TBP members have their own lane of stylistic music and all are worthy of checking out! However, together they’re pure magic🤩 Seriously impossible to go wrong diving further into their catalog or individually🔥
Your facial expressions are hilarious 😆 I’m so glad you reacted to TBP, what a fun video! They’re all so talented. I can’t wait to see you do more. Their Wade in the Water cover is fantastic and you’ll get to see Ren play the pants off a bass.
The Big Push is 🔥. Romain Axisa (guitar) and Gorran Kendall (bass and guitar) both sing . Romain is a killer guitarist. Both Romain and Gorran have their own YT channels. The Big Push disbanded when Ren had to go to Canada for medical treatments. He was in Canada for about a 1-1/2 yrs. and just recently moved back to the UK. Glenn (drummer) married and is living in Australia, I think. Gorran is gallivanting all around Europe and Romain is still in Brighton. They are all still good friends and there is hope that there can be a reunion in the future. Your face at the beginning of the video was priceless. Yes, Ren is a musician (guitar, bass, piano, drums) but he is so much more than that. He does everything, including making his own beats -- truly an artist in every sense of the word as well as being an exceptional human.
If they try a reunion, they must probably do it without Gorran Kendall. See and hear to this his comments about questions according to The Big Push in his life videos at his channel. Main reason is presumably the predominant opinion, that "The Big Push was all Ren" as to see again in this video.
@@UdoMittendorf-h5t That seems to be how it goes when one of the members are hugely popular and is doing his own music. 1# sick boi album proves he can be successful as a solo artist.
Most definitely a musician also a director, actor if his videos beatboxesand put out a #1 album, all hip hop/rap last year. His collaboration with Sam Tompkins is epic. Earned it/ Man's World/ Falling. And Blind Eyed is their song that wrnt viral in 2018 and gave Ren his 2nd chance at a career.
The UK has a big history with Reggae and Ska. In the 80s we asked for people to come from Jamaica and they are now brothers, so much influence on our culture, music and food.
I was waiting for you to see this one. I like pretty much everything Ren touches, but The Big Push is my favorite of his projects. Those boys are SO tight together. You really see his band leadership shine in this one. I highly recommend you check out Bongo Bong and Englishman In New York, as well as many of their original songs. Sweet Little Lady live is amazing.
I think Ren does everything except sew his own clothes. 😂😂 And this is only the first set of the day! Wait---did they do "Watch Out" first? So, O.K.----the second set of the day.
Please react to the Big Push , What Kind of Woman is This. It displays all the voices in one song, you'll be amazed. Also, their original song Swan Song, written by Gorran, is beautiful. Also their cover of Fat Boy Slim's Praise You.
**ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED** congratulations! You have discovered new ren friends The Big Push! Yet another rabbit hole to fall down, so much good music from them 💜💜😊
All the suggestions are outstanding. Ill add Englishman in New York, Bongo Bong, and Praise You. We'll talk about Ren and Chinchilla later. Subbed for more. He'll make you a Renegade real soon
It never ceases to amaze me how the Big Push can make every cover they do better than the originals. The best band since the Beatles maybe even better and I grew up with the Beatles having been a teenager in the sixties.
Aren't they the dog's danglers!!! All this street work is what has made Ren soooo good! You dont get this good without putting in the work, and these boys have it down pat! 🎉 🔥👌💞
loads of bands with lead guitar / vocals back ib n the day. Be-Bop Deluxe you might like to check out. Not so many these days I think Ren got all the talent none left for the rest of his generation. Think you owe that young woman an apology would be cool.
Hop on board The Big Push train. Currently not officially active, but massive interest in getting them back together even if just for select performances. But plenty of TBP vids to check out 🔥🔥🔥
I had only seen Hi Ren and then I stumbled across this on my algorithm. I was very curious cause I had no idea he played in a band. I had nearly the EXACT reaction you did 😂
Great Reaction! There were a few moments when i thought my phone froze 😂 TBP are a knockout band for sure! Something very different to check out is their "Swan Song". The harmonies oooooohhhh❤
Found your channel looking for Ren reactions and have watched the couple you have done. Great reactions !! I’d highly recommend Ren-Fred Again, any Big Push and if you want to see his rapping skills check out Hunger or Genesis.
I was hollarin' at the screen as if I forgot reactions are pre-recorded, going...."Wait!!! You're not ready for this, it's too dope to handle without properly preparing yourself!! 😂 What blows my mind is the quality of the recorded audio, I can't see any mixer board they're using, it appears to just be their amps, instruments, maybe a guitar peddle or two, and a couple SM-50 mics!! Oh BTW, really enjoying your channel, keep up the good work, and your intro goes HARD AF!!! Nice!! ✌💚
3:29 Answer to your question, "In the UK?" "Yes, Reggae music is well known & loved all over the world". Before 'Reggae' there was 'Ska', it is a music genre that *originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s & was the precursor to 'Rock Steady' & 'Reggae'. It combined elements of Caribbean Mento and Calypso with American Jazz & Rhythm & Blues. Ska is characterized by a walking bass line accented with rhythms on the off beat. It was *developed in Jamaica in the 1960s when Stranger Cole, Prince Buster, Clement "Coxsone" Dodd & Duke Reid formed Sound Systems to play American Rhythm & Blues & then began recording their own songs. Ska laid the groundwork for a musical revolution that resonated globally. - Personally, I recommend you check out a called band 'The Specials' as well as 'UB40' & another band 'The Police', (all famous bands in the 1980's+), you maybe surprised by what rhythm & beats you hear. TY 4 the reaction dude,
Ren, The Big Push, Romain Axisa( was in the big push with Ren and Gorran Kendall) all 2 have solo careers now. When Ren got so sick they disbanded. Check them all out. Very talented. This one thats playing in the background 😢😮( you keep interrupting the music) thank goodness ive heard his stuff lots and not wanting to hear the music. Lol. Bye
You should do a reaction to all the originals covered here: Bob Marley and the Wailers - I Shot the Sheriff DJ Luck and MC Neat - With a Little Bit of Luck Damian Marley - Road to Zion Dead Prez - Hip Hop
Also, if you're going to pause every few seconds, at least have the decency to rewind after each pause, so that you don't miss anything. That way you can at least "pretend" that you're paying attention, rather than disrespecting the artist and performance.

Ren is an amazing artist and all the members of the Big Push are super talented.
Idk if u reacted to it yet but u should check out the big push- bongo bong.
The next part of this set is "War Pigs". It's equally as awesome.

Thankyou for the great reaction lol it reminded me of me back when i kept thinking who else can do this 🤣🤣
I can't think of an independent artist that can match all Ren's talents at such a high caliber. 🤔
I think Ren does everything except sew his own clothes. 😂😂 And this is only the first set of the day! Wait---did they do "Watch Out" first? So, O.K.----the second set of the day.
The Big Push - Why My Woman?
Reggae is actually huge in the UK

Best band I’ve ever seen live except Pink Floyd. 💜😊💜

Hey fella great reaction, if you haven't done the Big Push Warpigs cover I highly recommend that next
Yeah, it's an Epiphone Sheraton II. I have the same guitar. Ren plays it occasionally in other videos.
A tip A. Don't stop in the middle of a guitar solo.
B. If you do stop. Restart back at the beginning.
C. See A.

It helps if you actually watch and listen to the video/performance you're meant to be reacting to! The attention span of a gnat...
Also, if you're going to pause every few seconds, at least have the decency to rewind after each pause, so that you don't miss anything. That way you can at least "pretend" that you're paying attention, rather than disrespecting the artist and performance.
Pausing every brain fart isn't adding anything to your experience.
