Aside from the drummer, they all sing, play multiple instruments, and have solo careers. They switch roles depending on the song - I think based on whose voice is the better fit? There is no ego. Just friends who love music and figured out it made more sense to form a band instead of busking separately. All that being said… it also can’t be denied that Ren is something very special. He has music in his soul and pours so much soul into every performance. And it all seems so effortless 😅 I know it has taken hours upon hours of practice and experience to get to that point, but it’s still magical to watch ❤

Gorran said Ren's bass strap was tied together, and he was afraid it would snap when Ren, (quoting Gorran)"Began to flail about". So he changed it . . . although Gorran is using it later on his guitar. They all become possessed by the music. That's Romain Axisa, guitar solo and fashion; Gorran Kendall, vocals, guitar, and strap changing; Glen Chambers keeping it together on the drums; and, Ren doing his 🤯 usual stuff.

Dude. Ren inspired you to stop what you were doing in the middle of a song to pick up your guitar and start making music. That’s amazing. By the way, if you want to hear Ren singing, check out some songs from his Freckles Angels album.

All 3 of them take turns to sing /play lead. All are so different but equally awesome (ok, Ren is in a different league, but still). I've been lucky enough to see them live twice.

Ren actually stumbled upon Sam Tompkins when he was 16 and out singing with no equipment. Ren loaned him his equipment invited him to start busking with him. They have a song together named Blind Eye. Also, please react to Bongo Bong. It’s Ren, Romain and Goran all chilling on a rooftop doing the song together.

Flower pants over there (Romain Axisa) also has a killer voice, and his live performance of Time After Time (no not that one) is just beautiful. It made the rounds a bit with reactors but truly all of his stuff is so lovely. He's French, and has a song with Ren called French Song that's a nice little vibe. I think my most listened to busking/live track that features Ren, Romain, and Gorran (other fantastic band member who sang here) all singing individually is What Kind of Woman is This. Bongo Bong is also super fun, and Praise You is so smooth to hear them seamlessly going from having very distinct individual voices to blending seamlessly in the harmonies

Ren's vocals on Wade in the Water are up there in the top 5 of all his vocals so far, imo

Can you imagine Sony dropped him? After Hi Ren went viral some labels sniffed around Ren and he said he was happy being an indie artist.
