i live in the burbs, have no animals, in an older established neighborhood and our yard is very clean & tidy. We have roof rats, everyone does. they use the top rail of our fences as a super highway, and the run around the neighborhood helping themselves to everyones fruit and nut trees. i've never had a problem with them coming out during the day or getting into my veggie garden when i have one. we just got our first load of wood chips delivered and i was so freaking excited. lol.
I love watching your videos!! You have influenced me to create a garden of my own!! Do you think you can make more videos of what you cook for dinner and what you use from your garden I would love that, tysm
need one of the those bucket mouse traps where you put a ramp with a trap door on the top that when the rat's weight is on the door it falls in the bucket of water and they drown. you could have your husband build it since he likes projects like that.
Are you going to start canning any produce ? I guess with good growing weather almost year round you don't have to but it sure tastes better than anything I know. If you have alot of watermelon you could make watermelon relish. Now for me, it's just me so I can grow just what I need
Meanwhile in Alaska the watermelon plant is 2" tall. It's safe to say I won't be getting a melon! Awesome harvest you guys. Seeds look so fun. Makes me want to place an order too. :)
You are doing chores in the night and I am afraid of the scorpions if they bite you. Please be careful. Rats are another nuisance which spoil the pellets, grains etc. Take care.
It is their pasture. They want a large area to still run around in and allow their animals space. Also there are zoning laws that require land to be open for animals to roam in.
Under pallets is the perfect home for rats! Be careful! We've been having rat problems under our house, which we thought was totally sealed off!! Get them quick!!
Actually pine needles make a great chilled tea. Tastes lemony. Fir is not bad either. I have sometimes just chewed on them while walking. The fresh ones in spring taste best.
really like your home and family, but geez- almost 9 minutes in to get the 30 second statement of the "SECRET"... it's a good one though! .................................................................................................................. o yeah, i forgot, are you in high desert? because those trees are nice and BIG. those do not grow down by gila bend that i know of... also HOW DO YOU GET THAT MUCH GRASS? grass dies about 95*... what gives?? GOD BLESS. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD HALLELUJAH
You know I found the best way to grow cilantro from seed is to Open the packet of seeds up And then dump them nasty suckers down the sink And then turn on the garbage disposal 😁

YAY for wood chips! Crazy about those rats, we normally don't see many around here:)
Awesome!
Nine minutes to find out that the 'secret' is mulch.
Thanks for saving me 9 minutes, friend
I know it is kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to watch newly released movies online ?
To prevent watermelons from pulling on the vine breaking it you should use a small patch of netting to suspent them not affecting the vine
Hope you make new videos educating us about the spring garden. Showing us how to prep soil, what to plant ect
You are the mmost beautiful flower and most nutritious veg in this garden
Conifer needles (like pine) are full of vitamin C; I'll bet that's part of why the goats like them. :)
Woodchips are life out here in Las Vegas too
I've lost watermelons to them being split too. That's a nice rule of thumb for the dry curly vine to tell its ready.
Been trying to figure out how to use my native seeds! It was nice to see we have the same ones. No more excuses to not plant mine.
Great videos. My kids just started a channel. Yours is amazing.
I bet Kevin would make you a greenhouse and you could have your garden in there whenever you needed to
I love watching your videos!! You have influenced me to create a garden of my own!! Do you think you can make more videos of what you cook for dinner and what you use from your garden I would love that, tysm
Thanks Gabby! We are trying to do that as well.
What did you plant? All you showed are your goats.
I'm moving to PHX next month. Can you tell what's good to plant in August/September?
Good morning everyone
Good morning!
need one of the those bucket mouse traps where you put a ramp with a trap door on the top that when the rat's weight is on the door it falls in the bucket of water and they drown. you could have your husband build it since he likes projects like that.
I'll have him look one up, thanks!
Cool!
Where do you purchase your seeds from?
Are you going to start canning any produce ? I guess with good growing weather almost year round you don't have to but it sure tastes better than anything I know. If you have alot of watermelon you could make watermelon relish. Now for me, it's just me so I can grow just what I need

“You’re like Gus-Gus”
OMG!!!! Yes! I use that reference all the time and my family and friends just looks at me like I’m crazy or laugh at me. Haha
What does that mean? There's a fabulous electronic group from Iceland named Gus Gus!
“You’re like Gus Gus...” 😂😂😂😂
Wish I could get just one load of chips like that here in the southern most tip of Nevada. No one will deliver out here.
Lol at the worse case scenario for rats! “They will bite you and give you rabies!” 😂😂😂
You are doing chores in the night and I am afraid of the scorpions if they bite you. Please be careful. Rats are another nuisance which spoil the pellets, grains etc. Take care.
They run away from people instead of attacking, so we're pretty safe as long as we don't grab one by accident:)
scorpions sting and pinch, they don't bite.
Hey, why do you have such a large expanse of lawn? (waste of water for something you can't even eat)
It is their pasture. They want a large area to still run around in and allow their animals space. Also there are zoning laws that require land to be open for animals to roam in.
Ever heard of pine needle tea?
We use grass trimmings, same concept as wood chips just easier for us to use
Where did you order from?
Where do you get your seeds?
Either Johnny's seeds or Baker's Heirloom. But in this video I got Arizona native seeds from nativeseeds.com
Here on amazon mostly: amzn.to/2vOKfTL
Typical woman giving orders 🤣🤣🤣🤣. J/K love the video ❤️❤️❤️
Hey!!!! 😋
How does the Pine needles affect the taste of the milk?
What do you use for a trellis?
Under pallets is the perfect home for rats! Be careful! We've been having rat problems under our house, which we thought was totally sealed off!! Get them quick!!
We'll get on it!
This is so beautiful T^T
Time to get a "barn" cat.
Lydia would LOVE that.
@@Weedemandreap my cat brings me dead mice and roaches as gifts to my doorstep. Also in Phoenix Arizona they work great! But spade em
How did these seeds do?
Have you tried the Phoenix library seed program.?
Can you tell me more about how this works? I'm interested!!
Actually pine needles make a great chilled tea. Tastes lemony. Fir is not bad either. I have sometimes just chewed on them while walking. The fresh ones in spring taste best.
Hey, that's awesome! We'll do that!
Good idea!
Can't wait to see your big garden area.... get something done about those rats. :(
Will do! :)
please wave to us next time when you make birds view....
Do you live close by?? We'll wave!!
Ok so a lot of wood chips
Yes. Anything that can diffuse the sunlight on your soil.
thanks for condensing 12 minutes into a couple words. RUclips is a nightmare
Pine needles taste like lemonade

“Barn” cat time ?
Lydia would die of happiness if we did that. Maybe we should surprise her with a cat? I just have to convince Kevin...
NO CARROTS!!!!?????

The secret to arizona garden lots of fertilizer.
You know I found the best way to grow cilantro from seed is to Open the packet of seeds up And then dump them nasty suckers down the sink And then turn on the garbage disposal 😁
Poor simp!
Is it gay that I want to start a garden? Asking for a friend lol
Starting a garden to feed yourself and your family is one of the most masculine things a man can do.
Gays eat...food?
Only if your in it for the cucumbers.
