The last scene when he said " 2 syllable called love" but also showed gyu ho's name .... I believe he do want Gyu ho back or that kinda love . in Korean love has 2 syllable " sa rang" and "gyu ho" is also a 2 syllable name!!
Really enjoyed your reaction! Pretty sure you would like the show “I told sunset about you”. Especially the second season, which is called “I promised you the moon”. The cinematography and storytelling is equally exceptional.
Well, what GoYoung actually meant was that, for Gyuho, HIV was a given, something he had to live with and find ways to carry on despite it. In other words, he had already come to see it as part of his life; he had grown accustomed to it. On the other hand, GoYoung hadn’t yet accepted that Kylie was part of his own life, which led him to feel some resentment towards Gyuho. He couldn´t accept his own burden. Later, he realizes that he didn’t truly value Gyuho, even though Gyuho loved him. Gyuho loved him when he showed him his entire self...his truest self, including the heaviest burden he carries: Kylie.
habibi's character and dynamic w go young was so compelling to me because it's two deeply hurt people coming together and then falling back apart. it really solidifies how important gyuho was to go young as well
Actually the ending HITS HARDER in the book! Cause in the drama it says "The only thing I left on the lantern, my two-syllable was love. That's my only wish" but in the book it says... *IN THE END I LEFT JUST TWO SYLLABLES on THE LANTERN, GYUHO MY ONLY WISH* 🥺🤧 like seriously! Those last words from the book made me more emotional 🥲! I kinda wish they didn't change that in the drama! Also the scene where the bartender said to Goyoung that Gyuho is coming back to Korea cause he has some things to sort out... That wasn't actually in the book! 😭 So them adding that in the drama make me believe that they're atleast giving a possibility of seasosn 2 if there's a chance 😭!!
25:40 He has psychological issues for sure; in the first chapter of the book, he talks about how he & Namgyu both "regularly feel sue-he-sigh-doll compulsions."
Love this reaction , Would love to see next Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo !!! Definitely talks a lot on the social issues in Korea while trying to navigate social norms.
Hi! love watching your jorney with this series, I really think you will enjoy the beautiful storytelling and the cinematography of "I told sunset about you", in my opnion is the best thai bl out there, its very gorgeous!
Loved the quality of the audio and video in your reactions... A nitpick/sidecomment for me is that the reaction vids lacked emotional connection bec the series is pre empted by declaring predictions on what will happen... Maybe as a viewer, i wouldve preferred more genuine- endearing comments vs clinical/calculated assumptions... *not that these matters, i still completed your reaction vids so i can move on from this series😂
I wish there're more realistic series like this in countries where BL series rising like Thailand, Taipei but there's not much. Most of them are just fast foods with sugar coating, it's kinda lame.

In the book in the end he said my last wish Gyu Ho ❤
I took it as his wish was not fulfilled and he just ended without love which is sad AF

btw in the last scene for his wish, he did actually write down "Gyuho" in korean, the general consensis is that gyuho was his one true love

For him GYUHO means LOVE, like the author said Gyuho is his true love and he always will

He really loved Gyu Ho 😢 a life goes on finale but but with a little hope of those things said on Episode 7, we WANT Go and Gyu Ho Reunion ❤
I would recommend "to my star" before "let free the curse of Taekwondo"
Both from same writers.
25:40 He has psychological issues for sure; in the first chapter of the book, he talks about how he & Namgyu both "regularly feel sue-he-sigh-doll compulsions."
