Brings back memories when I was a kid, watched a 2188 harvest soybeans in the field across the road from my house. The roar of that cummins engine was unmistakable!
Hey Mate. Thanks for this video, I am about to go drive 2188"s at harvest in Australia. My partner's parents have 2 of them. It is the one of the best sounds hearing 2 of them at idle warming up in the morning!!!
you prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Jesiah Payton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Neat combine love how it has AFS on it, pretty close my uncle uses a 2166 and a ez trail grain cart I love the 2100 series combines and the 1600 series
Good combine. Works well with a 6 row corn head. However not so much with an 8 row. My folks, and I, tried one on our 2188, and stopped up the elevators, more than once, and blew up the cleaning fan the last time. Etc. 🤪
Pretty sure there's a 2188 sitting in the barn at the farm next door to me! I can see it because the door is open and the Corn is almost ready for harvest. I am 45 minutes south of Springfield Illinois in Benld. There is a guy not far from here with a parking lot full of old Deere Combines for sale! Also had an old Gleaner F2 for sale for a while. I think he still has it?
But to correct you on the AFS being in the 2188 it was actually in a few of the 1688 models first and as far as sound goes the majority of the CDC engines were basically straight piped and not until the 2300s did we see mufflers but the 1400s and the 1600s with the IH/Navistar DTs had mufflers
Is this across the road from he video of them four S670s you made a video of the other day? I remember seeing a red machine running across the way from them. The 2188s are still very popular combines and that Cummins bark is unmistakable.
According to Discord, there's supposed to be on this specific video, but I can't find it. I also looked at many, many, many other corn harvesting videos... Edit: Found out that it got deleted.
Thank you for watching. Oliver is one of our favorite brands. BTP is always on the look out for Oliver and WHITE Farm Equipment. Unfortunately we do not get to see it in the field that often here in Western Kentucky. Here are a few Oliver videos we have posted on the channel. We filmed this Oliver 2655 in Western New York back in 2003: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=oliver+2655 Here is an Oliver 1955 we filmed at the Half Century of Progress Show: ruclips.net/video/MLdqoDsKn4M/видео.html Here is an Oliver 7800 we filmed at the Half Century of Progress Show: ruclips.net/video/a2JI4trDq9c/видео.html Here is an Oliver 1600 we filmed at the Half Century of Progress Show: ruclips.net/video/jcXIVufPdTM/видео.html Here is a WHITE 8600 we filmed: ruclips.net/video/NC7R7jIlqZs/видео.html We are always on the look out for Oliver. Our next best chance to film an Oliver will be an Oliver 2655 LP open station. We filmed it as part of a collection and the farmer plans to run it in the field at some point. If he does we will be there to film it. Here is the 4wd collection with the Oliver 2655: ruclips.net/video/qs5Bcv4ArDM/видео.html
It's so nice to see older equipment still being used thes days love your guys video
Thank you for watching. We have some more classic combines lined up to film this fall.
"Older equipment" man this is my newest best machine 😭.

Thank you for watching and commenting. It is fun sharing these great machines.
@@bigtractorpower happy Thanksgiving hope you and everyone have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving
I like the older combines. The John Deere 7720 is my favorite
I think the operator has been operating that machine for many hours, he doesn't waste anytime for sure.
you prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Jeffrey Aryan instablaster :)

I sure did enjoyed the video
That 2188 hollering like a panthers
Thanks for posting I enjoyed it. Sure sounds good!
The 2188 was an awesome upgrade over the 1688s but the 2388 trumped it with all the enhancements.
One of the 2388s where I work has a muffler the other 2388 doesn't. The one with no muffler is a 2004 model and the other is a 1999 or 2000 I think
How many horse power is the 2388
Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching.
We had one back in the day
Is this across the road from he video of them four S670s you made a video of the other day? I remember seeing a red machine running across the way from them. The 2188s are still very popular combines and that Cummins bark is unmistakable.
We have a 2188 they sound great
i like those Combines. but i love the older ih's from the 915 all the way up 2 the 1688. :)
A 915 would be very cool to film.
bigtractorpower
yes it would be. i have not seen 1 in years.
Trying to buy a 2000 case 2388 dont how many horse power they told me it bigger then the 9760 John deere
Can tell that sound anywhere
Are location is State Route 1 the first farm when you get off all the bridges then look at the left and theres the farm!
Is there a John comment somewhere here??
Seems the trail has been deleted :(
It’s okay though, I’ve discovered Katie Else :D
According to Discord, there's supposed to be on this specific video, but I can't find it. I also looked at many, many, many other corn harvesting videos...

That ol girl sounds sweet
eh, I'd like to see a 2+2 internatonal if you guys can find one
A 2+2 is high on our wish list to find.
Thanks for the great video
He is moving a bit quickly but not going to hurt anything
Axial-Flows are built to eat up corn acres.
Wow ,handles 8 rows at a good clip👍
The 2188 is a solid machine.
bigtractorpower Hi Jason some videos of a 2144 in corn would be appreciated thanks.
Internal. There is a video on here on youtube with a 2188 with a 12 row 2212 corn header in corn. It was moving along just as fast as this one.
ruclips.net/video/FgQcIpexvEE/видео.html
Es muito lindo meu s parabéns
Any idea how much the corn is yielding? Moves right along with the 2188...
190 to 200 bu is common for the area.
Yes, the yield looks at least that high, maybe more?
Is that a class 5 combine ?
New to watching but is this combine moving through field faster than others ?
Thank you for watching. I would say it is running at 4.5 mph. It has an 8 row head so it is well matched. If it had a 12 row head it would be slower.
Any Older gleaners like R-50 or 60
We are hoping to film an R42 and R66
Cannot, Cannot beat the way those engines sounded. The 2388 may sound a little better. JMO.
I have a 2388 video on the way to the channel this week. 😁👍👍
nice video,
can u find a s660
We have an S660 drone video on the way.
I never ask anything but may be a video of some Oliver's
