you asked why she wrote this song, here's why I think she did: I believe this song would be between dollhouse and carousel, and would be a story told by crybaby's mother, since the lyrics in rocking horse says "I miss your cradle" and in sippy cup, which would be the events after the miscarriage, says "of course it's a corpse that you keep in the cradle", the mom never overcame the trauma, and with that along side with her other problems destroyed her confidence and selfsteem, that led to the end of her marriage.
