I adopted the hobbies of solving difficult math problems, reading science books, reading different religious scriptures and learning foreign languages. These above activities helped me to discover a link between the human intellect and morality. I also practice meditation, prayer, chanting, strength training and endurance training. This gives me a degree of internal peace no matter what's going on around me.
I set aside time daily to do studies on things which I find interesting. I don’t allow myself to be distracted by anything. Even when things seem complicated and stressful, this time to take in knowledge apart from all other tasks, grounds and calms me.😊
Since listening to your videos, I have been more consistent with better hydration and I avoid multi tasking too. Which is a big change for me cause I used to pride myself at how many tasks I could do at the same time. I'm happier and less stressed focusing on one task at a time, and set my timer fir periodic breaks too. Thank you for presenting such helpful information that is medically backed and easy to understand.
Thanks a lot Jim ❤️ your help is enormous 🙏 I get a lot of inspiration and motivation from you …. Water 💦 you remind me again to drink enough water I had/have migraine… I heard for the first time from you. The brain have no pain 🧠 nice to know it Love and respect for you Jim
Hi Jim , im back to your videos. This video reminded me again to drink more water 😊 so thats whag i just did. I find myself more energetic and more positive focused. Thanks and keep up the good work ❤

This is the first time that I have ever seen this video or this person and I have to say I absolutely love it. Thank you so much, Jim this is true knowledge or should I say food for thought I am going to start learning different languages and challenging my brain with different types of math
That's why I love walking 18 holes of golf. Must stay hydrated, physically, and mentally stimulating for about 3 hours per round . I see the best 🌅 sunrises because tee times are at daybreak. There's wildlife and sunshine. It's basically an all in one great investment in myself every week and a great overall blessing 🙏.
Happy to know I am on top of some of these things also thankful to learn what else I can do as well. I’ve had interest in Yoga but haven’t learned about it yet and am excited to ❤
Good morning Everyone 😊 Thank you so much Jim for this great video and for such valuable advice. ❤ As a mild TBI survivor, I am paying very close attention to the new ways to improve my brain health. I also noticed the impact of the recent heat wave, so appreciate the very helpful and practical reminder about hydration 🙏
Thanks for this highly informative video. Firstly, I will improve on my hydration and exercise and try as much as possible to avoid multitasking which I do almost daily.
In 1997 I had brains surgery and the doctor during surgery touched a nerve during the operation and my life turned around ever since and it’s been hard for me to focus in task and school

It’s interesting about hydration, as I was working my way by diet to decrease and then finally get off my meds for diabetes. I noticed that I was drinking a lot more than I am now that I am off all medicine and quite close to being not even prediabetic.I also want to understand if the sodas, etc., available sometimes in school schools are hydrating or not. And how we build proper hydration into our educational facilities.
hi there lovely please how did you go about this .getting off your meds for diabetes and close to prediabetic im looking around for tips etc . thank you :)
@@jasmineuelese730 there is a book by Dr. Mark Hyman called the blood sugar solution. I think if you can find a good functional medicine doctor that would be preferable to just using a book. But I started slowly just measuring my glucose about an hour or so after I ate and eliminating the foodsthat raised my blood sugar. At that point I didn’t have insurance anymore. I would not recommend anyone doing this without some medical help.
Since I was months of age I was discovered water in the brain and had to get brain surgery and had put a shunt in my head ever since then the time has gone by and I am an adult and struggle in focusing in tasks and concentration has been a challenge
water contains mineral. The usa's mineral on tap water is usually low other than other countries, you should probably buy bottled water, it'll make you feel more satisfied
What's the issue? Are you reading at a decent pace? Do you know what the words mean? Because reading fluently and knowing what the words mean make it easier to read.

Some people have died from drinking too much water. It’s best to have a balance of enough water and enough salt. Watch Goobie and Doobie on You Tube. Dr. Goobie( a neurosurgeon) has a couple of videos on water and salt in the body and he explains how to get the right balance. I have low blood pressure as well, so I have to make sure to have the salt /water balance in my body at the right levels.

8 glasses of water a day ...what size glass of is recommended ? 🙏🏻
200 ml
One glass of water is considered to be 8 ounces.
Also much water comes in plastic bottles. Is that water at all contaminated
Also drinking 8 glasses/cups makes you pee a lot. Flushing out both toxins and good minerals that ought to be replaced.
Doesn't a lot of water will wash out minerals ?

Too much water will.
