Wow, the comments on the first story are crazy. NTA and he's under no obligation to do anything. Regardless of the "giving him life". Yes, he would be the hero if he did but he's not the ahole for saying no, especially since the tracked him down and harrassed him. They literally just wanted his bone marrow, not him. They lost custody for a good reason.
If you search up the story in China you can find the actual story of a mum demanding her given away daughter to donate marrow to the younger son whom they kept, they harassed the girl and the adoptive father for months through the local community school and relatives
Story 1: He isn't obligated to donate anything to anybody. They hired a PI to find him. That costs time and money. They could just use that effort to wait and get a regular donor instead. OP's right, they wanted to know where he is so they could use him as a free meal ticket. Good on OP and his real family for standing up to them. All the commenters complaining he has to donate or it'll be bad karma. Get the duck outta here with that nonsense.
If they got money for a PI, they got money for medical bills. If I was the foster, I'd respect why he didn't want to do with them, but after knowing the state took him from an unsafe household at barely a month old, and they were swift to scream lawsuit when denied, I'd go out of my way to spite them. I agree with OP, they're most likely chasing some sort of payout, most likely to fuel an addiction.
What is up with the comments on the first one? Did everyone forget the threat the birth parents made towards OP and their family if they said no? These people are just as crazy as the birth parents.
Do the commenters under the first story not realize how fucking painful donating bone marrow is?? They're literally piercing your Bone to get to it, that shit HURTS.
Story 1) as soon as they threatened, they lost all benefit of the doubt. They could have just as easily had a 3rd party make contact with the parents. That would have been the respectful way of making contact.
STORY 2 Idk how people start to take other people for granted...its disrespectful..Even OP she already pushed once making finance family works it out, now she is made to do it again... I wouldn't be surprised and fiance family have up on this wedding... And his fiance walking away from OP.. like get your act straight women !!
I question the validity of Story 1. The ideal [bone marrow] donor is typically an histocompatible-matched relative, most often a sibling, rather than the child of a parent with leukemia.
Yeah, no... He's not obligated to donate anything to anybody. I hope the next time you don't give the literal shirt off your back to a homeless person that "karma" doesn't come for you.
@@MegaHarvickFan29 Of course, he's not obligated to save a life. This being said, OOP is setting itself to be refused the same way. Such is the way of Karma.

Naw you good Fam! You don’t owe them Jack sh*t 🤬🤬🤬🤬
the donating blood to get out of PE is so real
Story 1: Screw those keyboard warriors shaming OP for refusing to donate bone marrow to those horrible bio parents of his. OP is right to refuse.
STORY 2

“they gave you life” he didn’t ask to be born and they didn’t let him get put into a good family. also born marrow transplant is actually dangerous
closed adoptions aren't that closed anymore
Story 1: His body his choice. End of the story
Love the new intro

Your dedication is admirable ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
OP is NTA but he is stupid for making that overused pro-choice argument at the end
Story 1: YTA. I think I have heard a Nirvana song because of the strong edgy teen spirit's smell. I hope Karma will not be too hard.
How in the hell is the kid the asshole here?

Karma for what? Consent?
At least they have an excuse to be "edgy". Kids are a bit cringe. What's your excuse?
