I have a question, what can i do in a situation where it will open only from the top? It is stuck in the other position. Impossible to bring the handle down to open the window/door.
@@Kohltech Hi, thank you for your reply. In my situation it really is a tilt and turn window/door. It used to open like a normal window/door to access the terrasse and also would open from the top. But for the past week the handle won't come down completely... meaning not only it won't open but won't lock either. Clockwise: it opens the top at 12, but won't come lower than 4 o'clock...and by then it should open the actual door but won't...also impossible to bring it to 6 o'clock... I can only open it in tilt way, which i guess is the meaning for the top part.
@@tashasvideos , it may be that the sash has sagged down and the strikes are bottoming out and therefore not allowing the handle to rotate. you could try to adjust the sash up by popping the cover off the hinge and turning the Allen screw. if it does not raise the sash enough you may have to call in a technician to deglaze then reshim and reglaze the glass in place

hi natasha, do you know if the window was designed to swing open? some tilt and turn are designed to just tilt in. the hardware is slightly different.
