Here's the issue, it keeps saying "incorrect pin or password" whenever I try to pair my devices, despite not getting any prompt to enter a PIN or password
Having issues with a XINYI Bluetooth receiver connecting to some of my macs. Sometimes it connects, other times it can take between 5 and 15 mins. I've tried everything, deleting the Bluetooth device and starting again, changing volume levels on transmitter (mac) and receiver. Resetting SMC & NVRAM. Checked i have no other devices enabled. Sometimes it shows it's connected but the option to connect to it in Sound in system preferences doesn't show it there. Or it will show up in sound for half a second or a second and then disappear again. Or it makes it's connecting chime and stutters like it starts the little chime tune then it starts again. It's like it's connecting then getting booted off again. Then eventually it will finally just connect. I have no other 2.4 ghz devices. wifi off, internet connected via cable, phone bluetooth and wifi off etc. It first showed signs of this when i connected it to a 2017 15" macbook touchbar. Now i am using a 13" 2015 retina with Monterey 12.7.4 and it seems to be doing the exact same thing as it was with the 15" touchbar. At the time when i first saw the issue i wrote to the seller of the device and they had no answers, since then i've mainly been using it with phones or older macbooks but now it's doing this again. I even deleted bluetooth plist in library etc. Nothing seems logical. Why some times but not others? V annoying.

my oxtab 10" never wants to pair with any of my speakers,very frustrating, ill miss a whole movie just trying to reconnect the speaker..I've done what you suggested, well I figured if I unpaired it,started from scratch it might work,now it's disappeared ,won't pop up at all..what can I do about this?
bluetooth works fine, but unable to AUTO connect for already paired devices after turning the bluetooth ON. I need to manually find the device and click on it to connect. Earlier it used to connect automatically after turning the bluetooth on in my Mi 11.
What if it keeps registering and does not pair? Like it shows up every time it's in pair mode but when u push for connecting it registers itself again...and ...again and again?but no connection.
mine was saying couldn't connect so i wound up unpairing to find out its not showing in my scaning results no more. all thats coming up is my wife's cellular device not the speakers😠😡

Turn off Bluetooth on the device and/or turn off the device. On your phone, under settings/Bluetooth, turn off / forget device you don't want connected. Restart your phone and device and go from there.

@@p1nesap I didn't realize that she was doing that until one day I put 2 & 2 together. It plays fine when she leaves, when she returns that's when the trouble starts. I really believe one of the ladies up stairs is a fugitive or something. She never come out, you never hear no radio or TV playing, no music either. When company came over one day, still nothing but silence up there, no conversation no nothing. What kinda mortal people are they? Real talk

Restart devices and try again. Key codes have to match. Check that you're not connecting to someone else's device.
