    I love love love how you explained everything while doing it yourself and not just expecting people to understand certain steps just by hastily talking about them like most of the youtubers nowadays.
    It goes without saying that I subbed,liked and even clicked the notification bell to all notifications because I’d love to see an other guide from you!

    Very helpful. Quick question, can docker containers on windows be migrated to a NAS. At present I have everything on my main PC but thinking about moving to a NAS. Would want to avoid setting things up again.

    • @KLTechVideos
      @KLTechVideos  3 месяца назад +1

      I don't use a nas but the arrs apps have a backup and restore function. Seems to me like you could just back up on the PC then restore on the Nas probably just a few changes to directories. Just be aware of permissions as you may need to set permissions in the directories on the nas and take ownership.

    Thanks for the tutorial!! Is there chance you plan on showing a tutorial on how to use something like Dashy inside Dockge? I tried a few times but while the site will load, no icons or anything else seems to get created (or is Dashy unable to be ran fully using Dockge?), still learning. Also, at the bottom of the file on github for THIS, it shows a different network than you had in the Dockge video. Do we need to create a new network 1st, change the network at the bottom of the file, or just leave it as is and hope for the best?

    • @KLTechVideos
      @KLTechVideos  29 дней назад

      Hi Thanks for watching! I don't personally use dashy, instead I use Homarr! Checkout my video here for that... ruclips.net/video/b1QREIsTgok/видео.htmlsi=qlt0KCPvroT0m8Qq
      Regarding the networks in the compose files. If I use them at all, they are different for each container stack. So the arrs apps have a network of - Arrs as shown in the video and dockge would too. But just follow the exact setup in the video for the best outcome as this could change.

      @@KLTechVideos Awesome thanks!! Quick question. I finished setting them all up and adding the indexers. I think 2 suggest using something like FlareSolverr. Is that needed in conjunction with something like Traefik (or what would you suggest?). And how many Indexers should we have? I did nothing but pick 11, they all have query and grab limit set to 1 and now I am being timed out for too many requests (never requested anything). Have you ran into this issue before?

    At 5:12 I don´t have the "file sharing" tab. Instead there is a "WSL integration". Not knowing much I tried to continue anyways but it won´t let me import the /data/tvshows in sonarr. It says "Folder is not writable by user abc". I suspect that it is because of the missing file sharing tab. Any suggestions?

      also I restarted and all setting are gone? Dockge sees the stack but says it doens´t manage it (greyed out). And all the arrs have resettet (need to restart from the create logging credentials thing)

    • @KLTechVideos
      @KLTechVideos  Месяц назад +1

      Okay so you're running WSL on windows instead of hypervisor for docker. That's okay. But you must also map the directories still. So in my example in the compose file I provided can you tell me what volumes you have their. For example the config folder on my compose is: volumes:
      - E:\My Data\Keith\Documents\Docker Stuff\arrs\Prowlarr\Config:/config

      Been working on the compose file. Permissions for the container get locked after compose.
      My solution was to remove PUID:1000 and PGID:1000 and add a line user: "${UID}:${GID}" to each container
      I'm working on integrating VPN as well Great Video it got me started with docker 2 days ago. Never even touched stuff like this.@Videos

    Any reason why you are not following the recommended volume mounting instructions on Radarr's/Sonarr's website that enables hard links and fast moves? Your compose file is wrong. Setting it up this way will double the read-writing tasks on a user's hard drives/SSDs when they move files from the downloads folder to their media folder. It is recommended to mount a (path)/Media:/Media folder with a Media/Downloads folder, Media/Movies folder, and Media/TV Shows, etc inside of he main /Media folder. Only mount the /Media folder

    • @KLTechVideos
      @KLTechVideos  Месяц назад +2

      Hi thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what your looking at but the volumes are mapped that way. Instead of /Media the common folder is /Data and the subsequent folders are in the same volume structure as recommended by the website.
      /Data/downloads
      /Data/movies
      /Data/tvshows
      A quote from the Sonarr website (sonarr.tv/#downloads-docker) ""The best solution is to use a single, common volume inside the containers, such as /data. Your Series would be in /data/tv, torrents in /data/downloads/torrents and/or usenet downloads in /data/downloads/usenet""
      So the compose I have created shows this as stated on their website. Feel free to point out anything you think I've missed here. Thanks for watching.
