What's wrong with breaking up? There's nothing wrong with realising the person you're with might not be right for you. There are billions of people in the world, and most of them wont be right for you.
If anything, breaking up is the mature thing to do. So many people stay in failing relationships because they're afraid to be alone, or don't want to seem like a "quitter".
If a relationship is good and strong and worth having, it wouldn't feel like a struggle.
SuperSimoholic That's the thing though, all relationship will have a struggle and life and people won't always be perfect. Of course there's nothing wrong with breaking up, but it's important to talk about things instead of just instantly saying, "The honeymoon phase is over and I think we should break up."

I would be miney on this couple to not work out because of this main disagreement. You can tell they both are not ove eah other and justcause it sucks to not be able to kove on the rekindled and both pretend they could change something out of their controle (being able to see yourself as childless or as a mother)
It is simply impossible to change how one feels about kids and soon the misery and unhappyness will set in again cause nothing has changed

That is why I did leave my ex fiance. He really wanted kids and kept pretending whenever I was about to give up like he ould maybe change while I knew he simoly was hoping for me to change my mind. But I knew I didn‘t and I know now he still misses me every day so it is hard to stay stromg and not give in. But I know by the bottom of my heart he would have felt just like your aunt down the lime even if we never split up. Having kids does simply change everything. Yes, Sade is a well-known presenter in South Africa. She was on a popular kiddies show, and later did 'So You Think You Can Dance', essentially she was one of my favourite presenters as a kid. I wonder if she will ever come back to S.A.? But yeah that's the short version of her story I guess

Yes to this date they are still together. But they haven't had any children yet. Probably someday they will when both of them will find the right mindset for a kid. But most importantly they are very happy with each other and very much in love. This love is what is keeping them together happily despite of different choices and wishes.
They are one of my favorite couples that I learn a lot from. I hope we all will find someone to share this kind of unconditional love with.

Aww this gave me so much happy tears 😭. I think some people breaking up, gaining a higher understanding and perspective of what went wrong can make a huge difference. Some people, if they broke up and ever met again, couldn't fight past their differences but for this couple, you can tell they probably needed this break to actually think of what went wrong and how they can work on things together.

Oh my god, this really hit home for me. My ex girlfriend and I also felt differently about having kids - her wanting them and having such a strong maternal instinct and me just feeling so so unsure. Gosh, and the way Sade’s (thanks to the commenters for giving her make) eyes lit up when the blonde woman said she’d pick her over children. Wow. It reminded me of how much I miss my own ex, how I always saw our future together
