@@keenfire8151 this could also be a personal choice, if you look at her acting credits on her wiki/imdb, a lot of the movies she's been in werent really _'big'_ movies and maybe thats just the sort of roles she decides to go for instead of the big franchises like Star Wars or PoTC -- Even though she did have in SW - The Phantom Menace. She could have continued being Sabé in George Lucas's Star Wars but i guess George had different ideas.
I mean it sort of makes sense as she's terrified about being stalked/followed and she's not the only actor/actress that gets scared about that sort of stuff either. A lot of young actors and actresses leave hollywood for this same reason (apart from the pressure of performing) Either way, The world is full of crazy people.

She was clearly talking about paparazzi. But she made it sound like they were random people showing up at her house. Given that she has been shielded from ordinary people all her life. She's probably suffering from anxiety attacks. This exaggerated friendliness and courtesy with which she is treated everywhere cannot be healthy.

She had pushed him so far that he was in a terrible mental state that she chose to record for her "evidence". I hope you are never in such a situation. I have been. And she sounded NOTHING like someone fearing for their own life. Hell she didn't even care about HIS life. She just wanted to record him in the depths of despair and she did it gleefully. So please stop spreading this spam, I've seen it multiple times in comments and it's honestly pretty desperate of you. I met her mum was doing work in her apartment (very modest flat in Kensington I think) in the mid/late 2000s was laying new wood flooring. Most of my day was spent hauling these planks up to the 4th floor using the stairs. When in the apartment I noticed loads of dvds of pirates mainly, all the trilogy but like 20 of them, one or two of King Arthur and Bend it like Beckham, love actually.
She made me a cup of tea and I said to her you like Pirates of the Carribbean I noticed all the DVDs but you have no TV? She said all of them are from my daughter was in the film's. I thought that's lovely support for your daughter assuming she probably an extra or something. She asked my my age and she said oh yes my daughter and you are the same age (at the time I was early 20s). As we talked only for about 5 mins until my tea was done I noticed more her face and the way she talked her mannerism were vaguely familiar but then I got back to work. Later in the car the boss told me I spent the day working for Keira Knightleys mum 🤣

The reality is quite the opposite.
Jack Sparrow is the funny-eccentric side of JD exaggerated and put on screen.
Jack Sparrow is not fictional. :) He is a real part of JD. That is why it looks so natural, that is why he is so charming.
@@meleardil dang that's a good point. Jack Sparrow was apparently his creation, after all, the rest of the cast have said that in interviews. I was honestly never like a "mega" fan (get it ;) but I have enjoyed any movie I've ever seen him in, and now that I've seen quite a lot of how he is in real life I like him even more. I'm not one of those celebrity worshippers but I can def get behind a real person, and their plight, if it seems genuine, which this did.

I can’t say i blame him either, because they just showed him that they will just cut off anyone if it brings them bad pr. Take Ezra Miller for example in his case i absolutely think that WB made the right decision, yet johnny only had one allegation and only accused, which turns out wasn’t even true. Disney should have had an honest conversation with Johnny instead of just axing him. Disney is responsible for killing pirates. That being said I would love to see them all back together Pirates of the Carribean is one of my favorite franchises and i loved all the movies, even the ones most people hate. Keira, Orlando and Johnny were a great trio.

I think Disney would lose money if they move ahead with another Pirates movie without Johnny Depp. I myself (and probably a few million others) would refuse to support it in any way. We all need to support Johnny in whatever he decides

What a genuine down to earth humble woman normally I'm not someone who cares about celebrities to me they normal people long story short my brother had a spare ticket to go see Mike Tyson vip so you could talk to him take pictures etc I wouldn't go but my brother kinda forced me so I went and when I got there I went sat quite far while everyone was around Mike and everyone just started looking at me even Mike lol then he came running towards me picked me off my chair gave me a bear hug and does he have power anyway this woman I would love to meet as to me thats all that matters how genuine someone is not money or fame or anything

Some (5? 10?) years ago, I heard an interview with Keira Knightley on NPR. I was floored by how incredibly eloquent and intelligent she is.

I thought she came across really well here. And I'm saddened to hear how much she is affected by her fame. Nobody should have to go through that. One can say "it goes with the territory" but I honestly don't think that's a reasonable argument. It's one thing to deal with fans and journalists at a premiere, quite another to be hounded in your day to day life.
"it goes with the territory" is most definitely a reasonable argument. Movie stars have been sought after by their fans since movies were a thing. Anyone wanting to be in the industry knows that and accepts that as part of the career.
Arguing against "it goes with the territory" would be the same as applying for a job at 7-11 and complain you have to deal with customers. Its part of the job. You don't wanna deal with customers or fans, don't get a job at 7-11 or become famous.

My favourite actors are ones who don’t choose sides and stay out of politics. Otherwise it’s so hard to watch their movies. When an actor retains an air of mystery then any role they take on is much more believable and enjoyable to watch.

Oh this is heart breaking. Now I know why she's so hard to find. I've always wanted to go to an event and get her autograph but if she's constantly hiding and overcritical of her work then it probably won't happen. I hope she does find some manner of peace and quiet. She's one of my favorites as a female actress lead. Composed, elegant, and cordial without all the nasty feminist woke crap. Even after all this time it's wonderful to see that it hasn't gone to her head. I am shocked that they don't have paparazzi laws especially when those kinds of people killed a royal princess.
