- You can break the shield, but you can't break the Uruk. Meet Broken-Shield, a Special Scar personality in Shadow of War!
Broken-Shield occurs when a Defender Uruk gets killed in any non-elemental way. They get a unique shield and a helmet.
Requirements:
- Use any non-elemental attacks on a defender Uruk who has the same voice as the one in the video (similar voices can also get it, but which ones has not been determined yet).

An interesting thing, Broken-Shield can also happen when a defender grunt kills you, and you don't even need to actually break their shield.
Also, despite of what this guy said, he didn't get Iron Will or Unbreakable after cheating death.
I actually found him that way...
and shamed,deranged and killed him.

I know it was covered in the main scar video but I remember this scar where his lips and nose was ripped off. How’d you get that again?
That's one of the scars for abandoning a follower on a rescue mission. So either attend one and walk away, or don't do the mission at all. Also, I noticed captains don't always cheat death from that, regardless if you rigged them to do so - you'll be relying on a lot of RNG for this one.

Anyone else miss the look of the older game? i miss the older scars, even though there wasnt many, they were more realistic.
More realistic? Most of them looks the exact same as they reused plenty of them
I miss the old Missing eye and Exposed brain. I also miss the unique armours for the Blue, Red and Black. IMO the captains were better when they mixed their traits and had fears instead of dazings. Now that there's classes like Trickster/Marksmen they completely break a good captain since if Trickster was gone, any captain could have decoys

@@DestroyerJamie That would make the decoy trait very redundant if any captain can have it. It'd be nonsensical in why they have that skill when the rest of the captain, title and personality, doesn't fit it. Like a waiter with no background in military is capable of operating a tank or a packing parachute; bullshit right?

I was killed by a grunt level orc defender but I had already damaged his shield and broken shield if his captain title. Now he's relatively happy in my army

Graug can kill any kind attacks? Does it work when you used dominated graug (or riding it) can you explain about the cooldown I'm still confused.
Back when I was level 21 I had a captain: pug iron gate.he betrayed me for power, I sent a loyal follower of mine to go and kill him.He succeeded.
I came back to burn at level 53. The gate and shield was broken but not the traitorous Uruk

If you kill a guy with broken shield and he returns you get the machineo

I accidentally got this guy and he cheated death twice first with a knife in his head then with a bag over his head then he became overlord and I cut his arms off then he cheated death a third then I killed him and never saw him again

This one doesn't. However, all captains who cheat death have a small chance of getting Iron WIll, which means if you get one, he could have it.
On the other hand, Cheated Death + Betrayal always adds Iron Will.
Uruk's Hollow Not for me, I had a follower cheat death and betray me and he didn't get Iron Will
