He’s the type of villain that means well, and thinks he’s the hero, he thinks he’s doing good when he kills Heather, and Kurt and Ram. The thing is, even though he is shown to be psychotic, he is still loved by the fandom, including me. Can anyone really blame us, though? He truly cares for Veronica, and unlike the movie JD, he doesn’t just love the idea of her, he actually loves her. In “I Am Damaged”, he repeats “Our Love Is God”, and it just shows that he’s really sacrificing himself for her. He’s also loved by the fandom because of his dark humor. The way that Dan Domenech even said “thus, ending her hangoverrrr” in that sarcastic way, just feeds us simps into loving him more. He has a very tragic past, as his mother committed suicide and he doesn’t have a good relationship with his father for that very reason. Most likely, his parents didn’t have the best relationship. I mean, If his mom was happy, she wouldn’t have committed suicide. This is the reason, or at least in my opinion, that he acts so possessive to Veronica. He doesn’t know how to love/ show love. And this isn’t mentioning every single actor who plays JD, in west end or broadway.. Has very attractive looks. It’s not just the actors, but it’s also the outfit. It’s shown by scientific studies that people are very attracted to bad boys, and even bad girls. It’s mainly because they aren’t afraid to be themselves, and because you know they will.. FIGHT FOR YOUUUUU- sorry I had to. In short, JD from Heathers the musical is a great character who may be a psychopath, but is still extremely hot, and we have scientific reasons to simp for them. I would also like to point out to not ever compare the actors who play JD, because they are all awesome. All JD’s are best JD.
