I love a song that makes me feel nostalgic the very first time I hear it. This channels early 2000s pop punk so well, it instantly took me back to my early teens. Can't wait to show my 11 year old when he gets back from school! We both share the same love for MGK!

He's truly amazing! My first mgk concert was 2011! I have attended every mgk concert in Illinois and Wisconsin since my first mgk concert! "When that crowd leaves will you stay for me" was the reason I stayed after shows and I even got to meet this godly of a man, with my sister. every concert isn't like the other. I've made it a life goal to attend every mgk concert because him and his music are my peace. Alot of people act like they didn't flock to him because he was like us, dropout and misfit, addict, parent at a young age...he didn't have the answers to making it he just knew he wanted it and bad. This man deserves everything for the years and work he's put in. I truly love him and people be lieing if they say they don't.
He has come so far literally if you follow him from the start you will see so much progress and growth and I'm happy for him! I love you and will keep attending until my death ♡

@@garys841 Probably...but think about it- The most Brilliant Musicians and Artists usually are on drugs...the whole 90's Grunge movement was on drugs and look at the bands we got from it. Nirvana , Pearl Jam, Soundgarden... the artists who suffer turn to drugs...but suffering makes some of the best creative fuel. MGK probably wouldn't even deny his use of drugs cuz he's raw and keeps it real.
I like mgk but he is not 90s grunge whatsoever. As a music expert I can tell you he didn't start performing till 2006 first off, and everyone knows he was a rapper. Only recently, and only with the help of Travis Barker has switched genres to a more pop-punk style. So yea just some industry info.

@@slayinhussys he was 16 in 2006. However it does seem like you're not aware of the heavy influence punk/rock/grunge had even in his earliest music (Rolling Stone is just one example from 2009). It's also why he's such a great performer - he has always been a rock star on stage, even when he's rapping. He's had a full band on stage ever since I started going to his shows (2017 was my first). I think that he was a rocker that rapped and then transitioned into full singing on the last album.
