Haunter can put your ghost back in your body, but that probably won't work if your body is so heavily damaged or aged that you'll just die again shortly after. Xerneas gives you ETERNAL LIFE. You can't age or die.

Arshan Haq I know. He is saying that Xerneas is better because it can grant eternal life. What I said was, that for this very reason, Haunter is the better option.
All Haunter did was put Ash's ghost back in his body. It's very unlikely he'd be able to do that if his body were too damaged or decayed to be used after being revived. That was also an anime only thing, and what happened there isn't supported by any official info (Pokedex), making it questionable at best whether Haunter can actually revive the dead. Xerneas, on the other hand, is confirmed to grant others eternal life.
Eternal life isn't that much of a blessing though.

jirachi can only make 3 wishes every 1000 years. once a wish has been made it is written in one of the 3 pieces of paper on its head. once all 3 papers are used, jirachi sleeps for the next 1000 years. useful but only 3 wishes in one's lifetime. unless you wish to be immortal

This list isn't bad but when you put Legendaries in the list arceus should get the nr 1 spot easy because he can create a whole new planet for you and can form it like you want. Edit i didn't see Arceus in your honorable mention list but my point is still valid.

After reading over Jirachi's Pokedex entries, there are plenty of problems with it, some of which would easily put it on AuraGuardian's list. For one, some entries state that it'll grant wishes that are written on the wish tags on its head (there are only 3, and they look pretty small, so you'd need to be able to write really small if you want more than 3 wishes) after it wakes up from its hibernation. This wouldn't be a problem if its hibernation weren't for 1000 years, only staying awake for 7 days. Another entries says it can wake up prematurely "if you sing to it in a voice of purity", but this is 2017 in the real world, so it hearing any pure voices isn't happening. And in its movie, it doesn't create what you want, but teleports it from somewhere else, ruling out stuff like immortality and possibly getting you in trouble if you wish for a lot of money. Jirachi and it's wishing powers really aren't that good.
For the movie, I would suggest it's moniker of 'wishmaker' is more related to that it makes wishes rather than it actually granting wishes (I seem to remember it wishing for a friend or something along those lines). In other words, the wishmaker wishes, it does not grant wishes that have been made.

Based on how Jirachi never really granted any wishes in the movie or anime, I always assumed that even in the Pokemon world Jirachi can't actually grant wishes. It's just a myth people made up.

And some Dex entries say that it grants wishes on its wish tags AFTER it awakens. So not only are you limited in how many wishes you can get, but you won't get them until after its 1000 year rest. You can awaken it early "if you sing to it in a voice of purity", but you're not going to find any pure singing (whatever that means) in this day and age in real life.

Wouldn't work. You'd have to write that on its wish tags, then wait until it awakens 1000 years later. You'll be dead by the time your wish is granted. That'll also probably have some severe effects on Jirachi's health similar to that one Fairly Oddparents episode.

You guys are aware that soft boiled is only a move that works on the user right. I guess in the show that the move works differently to your parameters, but not in the game. wouldn't Audino with heal pulse have been a better option. it is also a medical professional

if you have a chansy or a blissy in your party and your pokemon are low on health you could use soft boiled to restore it's health

I only figured it out in 4th gen It said I could use soft boiled then it asked me which pokemon it should be used on it took some of Chansy's health and gave it to the pokemon I selected.

I just want a pet rockruff, though I can't deny that I wouldn't love hoopa warping me to work, the gym, the bank or grocery store. No gas bills would be wonderful and all the time I'd save not traveling would be awesome. That's like, 10% of the time I spend alive. Then again, Haunter makes me immortal... then again again, Jirachi makes wishes come true, and I can wish for either eternal life or the exact type of afterlife I want. That'd be awesome, no more crippling fear of death, yay

In the one movie I´ve seen where Celebi appears, its time travel didn´t change history at all, despite it taking people from the past into the present or people from the present back in time, don´t know which way it went, all I know is that Ash met Professor Oak, but Oak was Ash´s age.
Celebi´s time travel abbility obviously prevents paradoxes, and even if you would accidentally cause one, Dialga is there to step in and save time. Or Giratina just pulls the problem into the Distortion World, where it wouldn´t be a problem anymore. Or Arceus creates a second universe.
Speaking of which, Arceus obviously created Celebi, so it knew what could happen, and most likely put in a failsafe to prevent Celebi from destroying the universe t created.

When you think about it Meowth is probably one of the most dangerous Pokemon ever conceived. The inflation rate it can cause would result in everything costing a shot ton, negating the extra money, and force everyone without a Meowth into extreme poverty as they literally couldn't afford anything.

Here's some bonus Pokemon you could probably put into its own "Honorable Mentions" section:
*Minccino,* the fluffy little chinchilla that actually deliberately helps you clean wherever it goes! It's LITERALLY a sentient feather duster. Not much more uses than being a sweeper, duster, and a cute companion, but it's perfect enough in my book and saves me the trouble of having to do some of my chores.
*Any Pokemon that has Teleport,* hands down. I don't need to get into the fine details, because using your imagination is the pure fun of it all. Just think of the possibilities.
*Milotic* is a Pokemon that, while not only drop-dead gorgeous, can actually end any conflicts that ails you or others with a peaceful resolution. This twenty foot long (or six meter long) serpent is described as having the ability to calm feelings of intense anger or conflicts by releasing a wave of energy to calm them. It's the best way to solve things in a reasonable way, hands down.
*Jigglypuff* is a LOT better of a Pokemon than you might think it is, and here's why: You're having a stressful night, running on no sleep for any number of reasons (maybe even insomnia), but your buddy Jigglypuff has got your back, and you'll have a nice rest in no time thanks to the lullaby. This can be nice for anyone suffering from sleep problems.
*Meloetta* is an alternative for people who aren't looking for resolving their sleep patterns, but still want something musical by their side. Both graceful and cute in its own way, Meloetta is purely the Pokemon of song, and that's it. But that, alone, can be its own marvel to appreciate. If you're a heavy music nerd looking for inspiration, tips, or even just a partner to play alongside, then Meloetta is the best partner for anyone of that criteria.
*Gogoat* separates itself from other rideable Pokemon for a number of reasons: It's not physically dangerous to sit on or stand near (like Rapidash), it isn't too overly large (like many others), and it actually shows a sense of empathy that most Pokemon don't show in the same way. Not only is it a great ride partner that could probably take you effortlessly anywhere at a relatively nice speed, but it's also described as being able to very closely understand how you are feeling, therefore showing close-bonded empathy for you. It's a goat that cares!
*Xerneas,* and I have reason why. I know you just said that Haunter is _somehow_ better than Xerneas, but hear me out. Xerneas is the GOD of life, and this means it can revive your dead plants, bring back your dead relatives or friends, or even just overall be your undoubted life support. I like to see Xerneas as the perfect motherly figure, in the sense that, if you or something else happens, "she's" there to help you out. And I think, in my opinion, that is just the best kind of partner to ever have in your life. No pun intended.

Where Ash, Dawn, Brock, and that other girl who's name I forgot are sent back in time, by Dialga, to stop the betrayal on Arceus and bring back the jewel? That, although it is the anime, proves that Dialga can let others time travel too.

Now let me bring up something I just thought of for Hoopa. Yes confined form can still use the hoops, but for the full potential, you don’t have access to the Prison Bottle. This is mostly because you put the unbound form in for the hoopa spot tho since I’m sure confined can still be just as useful.
A combo of Ditto and Alakazam would be extremely useful. It could teach Ditto ANYTHING that's possible.
Forgot your book at home? Alakazam memorized it easy and taught it to Ditto in it's entirety! (The reason I say it would sound easy is because it's possible that Alakazam, if it had the right psychic move, could probably transfer it's knowledge to anyone or anything in seconds)
Alakazam's entry on this list just re-confirms my reasons for wanting one however, I will defend the fact that for the same reasons plus metagross serves the same functions and may even be better for real life. Metagross is literally a supercomputer, is physically stronger than poor alakazam is and um.... it's death wouldn't be slow gruesome and brutal like an alakazam's (Seeing as alakazam's brain grows until basically it's head bursts) so um... yeah metagross too. Or Abra itself is just like having a cute little cat that sleeps all day and has telekinesis and some amount of telepathy and I could live with an abra too X\\D just bring it to class and have it float all of my art stuff above us with telekinesis. not to mention the fact you could also use it to just... teleport, anywhere. Who needs endless cash if you only have to spend enough money to clothe yourself and find clean enough water to drink? you could teleport to places all over including deserted islands where you can get free food if you're skilled enough (At the very least fruits), you'd never ever have to spend money on travel even to your place of work, you'd always be early or at least on time, so you'd end up like the employee of the month, better travel environmentally than any form of vehicle, honestly abra is a 2 in one package seeing as it would be one of a few pokemon capable of evolving in the real world (just give it a gba link cable as a kadabra if you really want to and send it to spend the day with a friend) and you'd honestly never even have to evolve it to benefit from a pet abra XD which means no exploding brain. I'd totally have a pet abra and just.. keep it as an abra
In the pokémon movie "Arceus and the jewel of life" Dialga is shown to be able to send other to the past. But I agree on Celebi being a better choice, since in real life the crystals in the pokéball do not exist, meaning that pokéballs wouldn't be able to fulfil there purpose in the real world.

Pretty sure one can argue the Jirachi point. In the anime, which you said you were using, Jirachi gets tired after granting wishes, which, if your wish had unintended side effects, could be a huge problem; they got off easy in the anime with putting the candy back. This makes a nice segue into wishes. In the anime, it is explained that Jirachi isn't actually granting wishes so much as using his psychic powers to fulfill the desire as best as he understands it (which doesn't mean good for you; May in the movie). Since psychic power is clearly limited, there will be a limit on what those wishes will bring you.

Celebi would definitly not be better than Dialga . Lil reminder : Dialga CONTROLS time . He is litterally the reason why time even exists !! Also in the 12th movie we see him sending people back in time .
The problem with Hoopa (Unbound) is that it is a very destructive monster. Now, if we got Hoopa in its confined form without needing the Prison Bottle, this would be much safer, since it doesn't have any evil intentions and can't bring as much destruction.
