This episode was good, maybe even better than the first one of the season. Even if I always have the impression to repeat the same "okay, so now, war is declared", like I have the impression that we're on the starting blocks for so long now. Lucerys was killed, now Aegon's son, and to finish, that attack against Rhaenyra herself, so come on, let's be at war for good. Otto and Alicent still have hope for peace, really ? I can't see how.
Some moments made me mad during this episode, and each time for the same reason : guys sleeping with the girls in charge, the real queens with powers, but no, they decide to do something on their own, without talking to anyone or asking for approval, and not a little thing, no-no, a sneaky attack against the enemy, something which can make the entire kingdoms at war. Daemon made me mad : yes, it was a mistake, but you have to own the responsibility for it, and you didn't respond to Rhaenyra's question about you seeing her as the real queen, you clearly want power. Cole… stay at your place my dear, aka in Alicent's bed. Aegon choosing him as his Hand after Otto talked to him like that, not a surprise.

I read the books, and I don't mind most of the changes. I know the books are supposed to be based on opinion and varied perspectives that are sometimes wrong or biased. The changes of the killing of Jaehaerys were a little strange, just cause I was expecting a choice between 2 boys instead of a boy and girl. Either way, it's still awful, and it still has the results of incomprehensible grief that alters the direction of future events. Cole has become such a disgrace, and he keeps projecting his own shame of his disgrace on others, taking it out on them. Now his disgrace has gotten that baby killed and 2 knights. Very sad, cause at one time he had so much potential to be so much better.
