This school has produced 43 NFL Players!! We pulled up to St. Augustine down in New Orleans for a game and it did not disappoint. They've got some crazy alums in the league like Tyrann Mathieu and Leonard Fournette, so you know this was about to be good. They also got one of the best bands in the NATION! 43 NFL players and no telling how many players in college is wild!!! That’s a true definition of a football factory. I hope those 43 NFL players are giving back to the school financially to support the school and program.
The basketball team produces loads of talent too. I will always remember St. Aug as a powerhouse.
One of the best high-school football programs ever and great academics to match.
“just gotta lean on each other cuz at the end of the day that’s all we got” ❤
Cool to see what a brotherhood this school is on and off the field
Real talk. I had dreams of playing for St Aug. when i was young but i moved to Atlanta Ga. I do have a younger brother who graduated from St Aug. He a tv reporter.

Another purple and gold high school that’s produced a lot of pros is Galveston Ball High in Galveston, Texas. It’s just something about that island mane💪🏾🔥💯
Yall have to do Texas, Cali, and Florida next im trying to see sum.
It’s crazy how how much NFL came out of south Louisiana.
got me fired up for the fall for real
Purple !
43? I need to check out they recruiting style... that's ridiculous..
This school molds young men into medical doctors, judges, lawyers, successful businessmen, journalists, and many others. It's a place where excellence is not just a goal, but an expectation. Its reputation alone attracts the best talent. The result? Resilient, determined young men who always rise after being knocked down. Just look at Tyran Matthew - he's a perfect example of their success.
losses = lessons, they'll be good

6 straight L’S 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😂😂
Always got a hater, 6 loses, 10 loses it still doesn't change the fact they produce nfl players stop hatin they a school that's renowned outside new Orleans be proud either show love or just keep it moving, hating on a program that's inspiring young men to be great is sad work its a bad look on you
Do better
So basically another private school competing against under funded government schools 😢. Anyway great results. 43 players? Even Miami and Los Angeles don't come close to those numbers.
Still not fair tho. These types of schools should be in separate groups.
The private and public schools in Louisiana High School athletics are separated in what they call "Select" and "Non Select" classifications in addition to the school enrollment classifications of 1A through 5A.
This school is in middle of the hood. My whole family put in on my tuition here.
Bro you have to do your research! The Catholic League in New Orleans is top tier! Those school are well funded compared to St Aug! And them kids thrive every year
You are way off base. St. Augustine opened in 1951 and is an inner-city high school. St. Augustine did not have a football practice field until 2017, and relied on city playgrounds. It has never had a baseball practice field. It did not have a gym for the first several decades but won basketball championships. The gym suffered a fire on Thanksgiving 2021 and the athletic gym, locker rooms, weight room and other facilities unavailable until repairs are completed. St. Augustine filed a federal suit to integrate athletics in Louisiana and won in 1967 to integrate athletics. The band integrated Mardi Gras parades in 1967 and is nationally recognized. It is a school with a singularly unique and outstanding history.
