What's good y'all!? We back with Friday Night Sights! We spent the fall traveling all over the country to some of the biggest high school football schools in the NATION! This week we pulled up to CSDR's crazy matchup with Fremont. Both these schools are fully deaf schools, so super inspirational to watch these guys out there balling. Drop a comment below if you messed with the episode and let us know where we should pull up next?
Clarification:
CSDR, viewed from the students' perspective, is an American Sign Language-centric environment, fostering a thriving community rich in visual language. With dedicated deaf and hearing ASL-bilingual staff and accessible communication tools, the school ensures everyone has unlimited opportunities to engage in both academics and extracurricular activities.

This right here is awesome i think what makes this school special is the teachers are deaf to so everyone knows what its like i think they learn better that way the kids and the adults

I recall watching a documentary on this school a few years back. It was very moving. My only complaint that it was way too short! I wish they would do a series on this football team.
I love this!! Things like this are what make sports truly community building and inspiring.
Thank you for watching 🙏🙏
Beautiful buildings, amazing story about Joseph Barrios and Deaf family contributing to coach / play for CSDR. All Deaf children in SoCal should enroll at this school…What a return to its glory!

I was born in Riverside and grew up near CSDR. I’m HOH and sign but went to hearing school since I can speak. I’m retired now (yeah, I’m old).

Bass drum. I lived at Gallaudet and during the Bison's Team) practiced the "go" was the bass drum hit. I was willing to do after school activities but it was very expensive for the state.

Where I went to school we were in the same league as OSSD, Oregon State School for he Deaf, w played them in all sports and Track and field was most difficult and in football they never had a snap count.
One day we were having a day before the game practice and coach asked what we were going to do tomorrow, we replied with beat OSSD, he said no were not because they just called and forfeited because some of the team got caught smoking pot, we all realized that they probably had a lookout to warn them if someone was approaching but they couldnt hear him😅.
Imagine how quiet the school is 😅😂😂😂😂
This video was so fun to watch. As a former football player, I approve this video.
shoutout to these schools, so cool. 💪💪💪
🙌
W🔥🔥
Ws only!!
Beautifully edited
Thank you ❤
amazing story
Sick!
Dope 🙏🏿
There was a pretty good team of deaf players from the Louisiana School for the Deaf (LSD). The only problem was with their initials.😅
Y’all should pull up to Temescal Canyon Highschool in Lake Elsinore for this upcoming football season.(Inland Empire)(California)
If you guys showed up it would bring some eyes toward us since we’re not really popular or known.
We Also have Summer Camp Football obviously in the Summer, and it’s cool.
Yes, keep in mind, most schools do not want to play us, Thrilla Cubs!
❤️❤️
Saschaaa
inspiring boys, inspiring
❤❤
i love this video
❤❤
I can remember Nebraska Cornhuskers have a player that was deaf, his name was Kenny Walker. He was a beast and wemt on to play in the NFL. I slso had a friend that played at Iowa School of the Deaf
serious question, how do they play through the whistle? like do they have a device that lets them know the play is over on those plays where the ball is still live?
Big ups tho fr
Wonder how they would compete against IMG
What an incredible story.. these guys have such amazing stories to share..
#2 Will Survives be ballin when he not in the woods

If I could choose where my tax money goes I’d put it towards this school. Honestly I’m sure those kids get very sad when they have to leave I know I would. Amazing school

If I was Deion Sanders, I will go and check them two teams out because number 2 for the red team is nice with it
I wish I was deaf, it seems so fun and new wow😢❤
Love this! At least, you can learn sign language and come volunteering at the deaf school
Sounds like Fortnite henchman
must suck to be deaf in Riverside and try not get shot for speaking thinking you throwing up signs

Half of them were just throwin up gang signs
Who all do they play?
can you even call 60-1 a rival???
Long time ago in good old 1980's, I was bullied by some deaf students and I don't like a bully boss named Lenny Gonzales was threatening my happy life and that wasn't very nice.
