Plus, he's in 3RACHA and Chan's right-hand man so it's just different with Han.
i love how felix and seungmin are 00z but they're considered as maknaes because they play with innie a lot. these three are so cute

Didn’t they have a competition for the last room with 3racha and Hyunjin won. That’s how he got in that dorm. Somebody said that. By the end of Sept Hyunjin , Han , Felix and Seungmin will all be the same age and Feb of 25 I.N will be same age as all them for a month until Hyunjin’s Bday Really it’s a big Maknae line there.

I think the most common Maknae/Hyung division is half-and-half with Maknae line being Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N; Hyung line Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin. Another common one is Hyunjin being added to the Maknae line since he's the same age as most of them.
I don't think many people seperate Han and Felix in the age divisions since they're literally a day apart, but the og creator probably just wanted to focus on I.N-Seungmin-Felix moments and Maknae line is a convenient name.
I think that instead of maknae line they could have used bokseungah （yongbok，seungmin，IN） which is like the official name for the trio. People just have different ideas of who should be considered in the maknae line😂

Our Maknae line does do alot of things together (+leeknow) cause they live in the same dorm they often play games together watch skz codes and eat dinner together etc etc..😄

their maknae line would be innie, seungmin, felix, han and hyunjin in age order but to split it in 4/4 ppl usually put hyunjin in the hyung line since he's older than innie and whilst in the same year as the other 3, few months older. Yes ever so loving Hyunjin gave death glare to I.N in a recent "Vogue" interview where Felix was sitting between I.N and Hyunjin and both at a time wanted to put their hand on Felix's shoulder, both lifted their hands to wrap around Felix and saw the other doing the same and so retrieved but Hyunjin was giving death glare to I.N while Felix was confused and gave side eye to Hyunjin

Hyunjin is not from Maknae Line, he is from Hyung Line.

As others already said, this is technically not the maknae line. Skz's maknae line are Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. Hyunjin as the oldest of them is put into hyung line a lot of the times to make two teams of 4. Felix, Seungmin and I.N have their own team name called Bokseungah 🍑😊
