The man is genuine. He is not in denial of issues that are present. Humble enough to accept that no one is permanent in this Chair but we need to deliver. We are not here to blame but to work. Which other leader has these qualities. Definitely not Modi. But Mr Shivakumar you need to work on the solutions to the problems. Seems like you still are not sure how to solve them. I believe they will be able to contribute with excellent solutions and with a pragmatic approach, development will take place. A Rapid Metro system like the one in the millennium city, Gurgaon or skytrain might ease the surface transport system. DKS ji your actions will speak louder in the coming days. Kudos & best wishes to you and your Government. I also lived 8 years in Bangalore in the 70's & early 80's. It was rightly called the Garden city of India then. One suggestion split IT HUB and offices To all directions around Bangalore so traffic is distributed. Make public transport more connected so it helps in solving major traffic since every individual has to go to office only in one direction which is biggest issue. Distribution of load is simple

These politicians should be teaching students in IIM to help them learn how they can increase their net-worth from nothing to 1400cr in 30 years rather than providing these kind of high moral ground gyans. This way they need not break their heads to figure out how to fund all the freebies. No media is ready to expose all these high networth politicians how they amassed such wealth by tracing back to where they started from. This is one of the reasons such people and the supporting system around them keep doing what they are doing ie. amass money.

THEY HAVE STUDIED MD IN AYURVEDA AND THEIR SALARIES ARE LESS THAN THE LINEMAN AND POSTMAN. KINDLY REGULARISE THEM SO THAT THERE IS VALUE FOR THEIR MD DEGREE.

I have some suggestion if you provide free transportaion, increas work from home culture and improve villages infrastuctor ( hospital, transportation, education). reduse tax in village, people will go and live happily in village.

Please complete Metro first, its been delayed by all the government since 10yrs( it will reduce traffic automatically)
2. Ask IT guys to do compulsory working from home for 3days in a week to reduce traffic blocks in major bottleNecks.
3. Remove illegal properties built on the Drain, your flooding issues will be over in a year.
4. Put more artificial cameras in the traffic signal and put hefty fines on people who violate traffic, it will reduce people taking cars & bikes and government will get more money from fines.
5. Increase more vehicles sharing apps in Bangalore so that people will reduce taking their vehicles and use sharing cabs.
6. Like Chennai and Hyderabad
Introduce share auto which will reduce traffic too.
These decisions can be taken quick and get good results immediately

Take the survey of the citizens, stakeholders, corporates, and local communities of Bangalore and develop the roads and infrastructures of Bangalore. There will be many good people who would like to invest in the development of Bangalore. Have meetings often with stakeholders, who would sincerely improve Bangalore. Exactly deliver the needs of the people, a good moral person does not do corruption even if he or she finds chances but the greedy man or woman will find ways even in the midst of chaotic situations to do corruption. Corruption is inherent and inherited by blood.
I agree and support the suggestion you have stated - to rope in the Stakeholders and engage them in the development. If I may add there must be greater emphsasis of Scuentific Traffic management by studying & monitoring of traffic by competent persons.
BJP should learn from this man how he is progressive thoughts and developmental politics are instead of always talking about hindutva and hindus which makes people so sic.
