He's somewhat right though. Statistically Protoss is getting their ass kicked by Zerg, but they do have an advantage against Terran - yet Terrans like Flash kicked their ass. Brood War is a game with an incredibly high skill ceiling, and it makes sense a very select few people rise above the rest. And it's not statistically unlikely that if, say, 5 players rise above everyone else by miles, then only 2 races could emerge. If you roll a dice 5 times, it's perfectly possible to get 5 rolls between 3-6 (1-2 representing protoss).

Winning ASL is a hard thing to accomplish lol But he got 3rd place with a one race each sweep against rush that was hilarious. You also forgot if he switch to toss he doesn't have to compete with his own Terran.
@@zombie92110 in that era all pros were preparing for the sc2 switch including fantasy and therefore practiced both. It is widely known that jangbi only practice brood war, so some don’t really count those OSLs. Fantasy was really good though

I would assume, without APM limitations, Zerg would be the preferred race by a superadvanced AI. Simply because it gets so much more value out of supply and has the most powerful spellcasters in the game. The main limitation for Zerg players is that once Zerg gets really big it becomes really unwieldy, much more so compared to the other races. I really wish we had such a project in BW to see how far limits can be pushed.

Terran rewards good mechanics the most, you can get by with terran just doing basic builds like 2-1 mech timings tvp and 2 rac academy into 3 rax tech in tvz and you'll do great if your execution is good. I mean in tvp what are some decisions you can even make to alter your build? Make one more factory before building your third base, building your third on location or floating it from your main, there isn't much creativity in the way pro terrans play especially in tvp. In tvz there's a bit more room for creativity but good terrans like light just do the same macro build 1000 times in a row.
