I have stopped watching other peoples' videos, because, YOUR videos are absolutely the BEST on EARTH!!!!! You have to be the most awesome and hilarious person I have ever seen or heard!!!!!
This has got to be the most gorgeous, cleanest, most optioned Buick I have ever seen. I’ve always loved that aggressive looking front end on the ‘59 Buicks!
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Bruce Emmett thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I KNOW!! Me too. I felt the entire way Charles did about this lovey. If I won a lottery, I’d hunt down the owner and make him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Actually closer to 40,000 Pontiac wagons made in 59.... Buick wagons were just above 13,000 wagons made. Pontiac Custom Safari, total production with Hydra-Matic - 4657 units 4-door Station Wagon-6p, 2135 - 21162 units 4-door Station Wagon-9p, 2145 - 14084 units Buick LeSabre estate wagon 8,286 Buick inventa estate wagon 5,231
Good job, Charlie... I damn near LOST IT at "in the handwriting of your favorite lesbian Aunt". CLASSIC Charles Phoenix. And yes... Those 59 Buicks were regular Aircraft Carriers. 👍
I am a true station wagon aficionado and I have to say.....this is one of the most beautiful, stunning examples of engineering and styling masterpieces in existence. Ab-so-lutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
BEHOLD!!! The Phantasmagorical Buick LeSabre motorhome!! What a fortunate person you are to have access to all these incredible machines and thank you for sharing with us who share your passion...... I know!
Truly glorious! Brought back memories of driving to swim practice in a '59 yellow Invicta convertible that my team mates mom owned. Had the TRIPLE turbine trans and his mom drove it like she stole it. We all loved that car.
What a fantastic wagon! Presented as only Charles can! Actually, these '59 Buicks were my favorite cars when I was about 5 or 6 years old. They weren't very old back then. Beautiful restoration!
Well my convict uncle (not lesbian aunt) bought one of these right before he went to prison. I remember as a kid seeing the car parked behind grandpa’s house. Even as a kid I would just look and look at this beautiful car.
I first discovered your channel today from the Lincoln Mark V joyride video. I’m here to tell you that your big voice presentation style is so fitting for these grand ole cars. I’m subscribing now because of the enthusiasm you clearly have for the classic America automobile. Much success for all your videos 🎥
My Dad's first car was a Black 1959 Buick LeSabre Sedan. It was the most fantastic looking car to me, but then again I was only 6 years old when it got replaced in 1965. All I remember was that after a while, the right rear door would not close unless you fiddled with the hinge. Then on a big road trip to see some national parks, the reverse gear in the automatic transmission decided not to work. My Dad had to try to find motels with parking lots where you could park without having to use reverse gear to get out. My Dad only bought Chevrolets and Fords from 1965 on.
Whoa, really rare car. They are so rare that I wondered if they stopped making Buick station wagons in 1958-59. I was a car fanatic back then and don’t remembering seeing one of these.
The 1959 Buick sedan model was my favorite car when I was 4 years old. I am glad to find someone agrees that the styling is awesome! And yes, I enjoyed watching the video and got lots of laughs!
This is the most spectacular station wagon I’ve ever seen! I thought the Woodie stations were outstanding, but DANG! This is THE BEST! 😍 I wonder what it cost new in the Buick showroom?
I couldn’t take it! I “Googled” the price for this 1959. The base price was a little more than $3,300.00. But, there’s nothing base about this model, especially the color and the power windows! 😍
Hey Jim! its Guy! This car is BEYONDO-O- these 1959 GM Battleship Galactica Space Mobiles! That LeSabre speaks volumes about that 1959 trip to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan going to Sault St Marie! Get Grandma! Get Grandpa! get a neighbors kid!
Oh, my! How's that for Americana? A 1959 Buick LeSabre. Station wagon, no less. My grandparents drove Buicks back in the day. I don't know whether they had a 1959 Buick or not, but I seem to recall pics of Buicks of the 1950s through to the 1970s. Impressive, eh? I know!
@@charlesphoenix9746 I know! Like you, I have an interest in anything Americana of the 1950s and 60s. I was born in the 1970s, so I missed that time. But I've seen over the years some things that were built in the 1940s through the 60s. My favourite are the cars. I love everything from Edsel to Studebakers to Nash Rambler and AMC. Thanks for the videos. :)
I love thatt red on red. It was prevelant in the early 60s. It would had been real cool if the car had an all white vinly interior to go along with the white top. It look nice anyway. I could drive this car sloowly down a crowded avenue on a nice sunny day. Very nice
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space-age work of art. People often overlook this late fifties Buicks because of the tri-five Chevy and 59 Cadi craze. Which is actually good because now I even more really really want one. 💓 😂
Charles: The seaside town of Wildwood, New Jersey is on the southern tip of New Jersey and there is a whole enclave of 1950s style motels still existing. In fact someone made a really nice coffee table book about that town. I stayed in one of the motels and it was a great experience!
Charles! How did I miss this High Speed Heart Pumping, Space Wagon?!??! I am truly in LOVE with this BUICK! What a Super Care taker of this awesomely optioned beauty. Thank YOU for presenting!
Being from Texas, I can fully appreciate the Longhorn reference. LOL! Favorite lesbian Aunt, almost did a "spit take" whilst sipping my Captain & Coke! That ISSSS a gorgeous red. Always look 4 ward to your great videos!

You must be so Fun at a Party! haha. I remember being scared of this year Buick as a young kid born in 1962. lol Love this Ride. SO much Styling and to think we changed style Every Year! Almost Fully Loaded!!
Hard to imagine, but there was also an Invicta model station wagon with a plusher interior and even more chrome (well, stainless steel) trim. However, this one has the trim around the front wheel opening and rocker panel from the Invicta. Either an option, or something added in the restoration. And, all the proper (other than power seat) options to make it as livable as a modern car (mostly). Very nice. Could have used a driving impression - guess the owner didn't trust you to actually get behind the wheel.

That's an amazing wagon. Gotta be the best of its' kind left, I'd imagine?
I agree, since only a little over 8,000 were produced in 1959! It's a beauty.

way ahead of its time. This is a nice station wagon.
That wagon makes me weak in the knees.

My first car was my parents 1960 LeSabre 3 seat wagon. The roof was as long as an aircraft carrier. I loved its curves and fins!
I am 68 and when i was a kid we had a 59 Olds Dynamic 88 fiesta wagon, red and white
What a superb vehicle. I would also struggle to maintain my composure.
Loved this one Charles! What a spectacular vehicle! Not sure how you contained yourself as much as you did. It's incredible!
