    I always use cleansers that don’t agree with me to wash my makeup brushes with.

    Hi Karen as always love an empties video. A few things of note:
    Texture spray gives fine or layered hair a bit of oomph or grit - making it easier to tie up as its less silky, or emphasising the layers (probably not what you need for your thick long hair)
    The rhyme and reason conditioners I used up as pre shampoo masks, but I have course curly hair and need to do that prior to shampooing. They don’t have enough slip as a regular conditioner for me and I think that may be why they’re not detangling enough for you. They are silicone free and are never going to detangle in the way silicone does.
    I hate lip plumpers too and will avoid that liner lol.
    I hope you’re happy with the garden and decking once done and have a healthy happy July. Best wishes x

    I use texture sprays daily, I’m currently using the Moroccanoil one, but for me it’s a product for very short hair to mess it up, in a choppy style - as an alternative to something like a matte wax or sea salt spray. Not sure how I’d recommend using it on long hair 🤔 the best one I’ve ever used is the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, but the price is crazy - I’d have to remortgage the house to keep that in my routine! x

      Yeah it’s to mess it up. In longer hair you might use it if you’re doing beachy waves to mess them up and give a bit more volume and texture but it’s more for your mids to ends rather than roots

    If looking for a Uk lash serum that’s safe the Glow For It brand from Beauty Bay is brilliant made such a difference to my eyes

    I realised texture spray isn’t for me after bought a colour wow one of a lot fine hair but it’s dry n wavy texture so it just makes my hair feel more course n dry so it’s for straight silky hair that won’t hold curl or volume so the opposite of my hair so def not for me Il use doing up styles or if used to much oils in my hair to use it up

  • @trishhickson1550
    @trishhickson1550 Год назад +1

    Personally I think texture spray might be better for shorter layered hair. Only speaking from my experience, but that’s what I have and it defines the layers and kind of makes them look more messy but in a good way, if that makes sense! I like it for my fine thick hair.
    Did the lip injection liner make your lips look bigger? I might be willing to bear the pain if it did that because I’ve got really small lips!

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  Год назад +1

      I don't think the liner made my lips look bigger sadly, otherwise I might have persisted lol. x

    I really enjoyed the Lumene Artic Hydra Care moisturizer. I think the whole line is fragrance free. As for the texture spray, I always thought it was for making curls but I'm not certain.

    love watching your empties, what works or didn’t.❤🐾 did a search for you (Texturizing spray is a styling product applied to dry hair to add more texture, volume, and lift-a major plus for anyone with fine hair or strands that tend to fall flat. Texturizing spray for hair can also help create more grip for updos or braids and keep accessories in place.)

    I have wavy/curly hair and I like the Living Proof full dry volume and texture spray. I use it when my roots need a bit of a lift and I only spray it on the roots. It gives my hair a bit a oomph lol. Emma x

    I’m not a physical scrub fan but I totally agree about the nip and fab one, it’s one of the only ones that really deeply scrubs my nose and gets it smooth, I do have to use it sparingly but it’s ace on little self care days! Also as for the cleansing balm you dislike, maybe you could use it to wash makeup brushes/ sponges? Even just as a pre-wash to break up makeup before going in with something else? (Ps. I think the K-18 is more designed for bleached hair, which is maybe why it didn’t do anything for you)

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
