Please note: I forgot to mention that in regards to my individual wear and tear for the bag; it still looks like how it looks on the first day of using it with very minor scratches on the strap of the bag. Also, there are hairline scratches on the metal part of the LV logo. However, that might not be the same result for another individual wear and tear for the bag.

So sorry, there was a lot going on in my life; therefore, I didn't took the time to answer your question because I was thinking everyone who is an adult should know what is an unsafe vs safe situations. After thinking awhile I'm back to answer because I thought what if the person really didn't know. Therefore, I think to best answer the question: an unsafe situations would be any location where there are higher criminal activities or the "rundown" part of the neighborhoods. Especially late at night. This bag with all the LV logos will make you stand out if someone is looking for a way to make some “quick money” because it’s a luxury item, and it's never a good idea to stand out in unsafe situations in my opinion. I think this is an incredibly important comment… unfortunately in todays world, no place is truly “safe”. Us ladies who love our designer handbags (particularly those with these loud prints/logos) need to be aware of our surroundings at all times. It doesn’t matter where you are. Crime can happen ANYWHERE and we’re targets when we wear these.

The scratches are not that visible far away, but if you come close to look at the LV logo you will be able to see them. However, the back of the LV logo where the magnet that closes the bag there are more scratches due to the fact that it is metal hitting metal when you're closing and opening the bag. Please understand that scratches will happened with all metal hardwares, and the severity of the scratches really depend on the user of the bag. I hope that this info. helps you.
