What grit is your mandrel band that you use to prep new nail growth? I’m wondering if a 180 grit band is enough to rough up the natural nail for adhesion with Light Elegance products :)

180 is definitely enough for JimmyGel and Lexy Line, and 240 is plenty for P+
The trick is to purchase high quality sanding bands!
I use both Erica's ATA and Magpie - just depends who has stock!

Is this when you go to the salon? Depending on the way a nail plate gets prepped or product is removed the nail can experience damage which can be seen in a variety of ways, but pits is one of them!
