3D Fried Egg Nails using Light Elegance | chatty hard gel rebalance ♡
hey everyone!
Sorry for the gap between videos...
I kind of just record and edit when I feel like it, but I should really put it into my schedule, because I really do love creating these videos for you!
Check out this new technique that redirects the natural nail growth from down and around the finger to nice and straight - like you've used dual forms... but without the fuss!
I am still learning this technique so this is just a first look... but the result turned out ok I think!
Just need to work on the lower arches to perfect the aesthetics!
My nail journey started from watching youtube... so now I am making the videos I used to really enjoy watching most :)

    Hi! How many RPM's were you working at when debulking at the beginning? <3

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz 8 дней назад

      Hey gal! This is very much specific to the bit you are using, but with the Speedy bit from Light Elegance, the recommended RPM range is 12-15krpms with the LE Zippy efile. Sometimes the recommendation for carbide bits is "the faster the better" but in my experience it actually totally depends on each individual bit!

      Hey gal! Yes - I have always been interested in art since childhood so it definitely helps with doing nails now! I got into nails just for fun, through watching RUclips and actually just doing stamping with normal Polish. I then wanted access to high quality gels, and had some disposable income so I just literally got my license for myself!! Then, I loved it so much I decided to give it a go full time!

    • @reverienz

      180 is definitely enough for JimmyGel and Lexy Line, and 240 is plenty for P+ The trick is to purchase high quality sanding bands! I use both Erica's ATA and Magpie - just depends who has stock!

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz 4 месяца назад

      Thanks for your persistence 💕 I love the energy 😇 Each bit is made for a particular purpose and therefore requires understanding around how to use it safely (speed, direction etc) I make it look easy because I have completed in person training! And 1000% recommend anyone to do the same Efiles are power tools - would you learn how to use a drop saw from a video? 😅 I wouldn't 😅

    I'm using builder gel as a base and I've watched a ton of instructional videos on use of an e-file for gel removal. Everyone seems to use different speeds and bits. Your gel removal looks pretty effective so I'm just wondering what speed and bit grit you are using in this video. Thanks.

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz 4 месяца назад

      Hey hun! I use the Zippy Efile and Speedy Bit for removal and debulking Efiles are 💯 power tools and you need in person training to understand how to safely use each bit, what they are made to do and how to respect them and use them to enhance your professional service.

      @@reverienzye it’s a lot of work to edit this type of content so I just patiently wait for another one to come out 😂 I was wondering if you could flat matte before nail art or if it’s better to just buff the surface? I’ve recently committed to light elegance and still trying things out ❤

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz 4 месяца назад

      If you are using ButterCreams or gel paints for art you just need *less* inhibition so you can do the same as I have here pre flat matte, and do a quick wipe of the cured buttercream base Normally I am working fast enough that I'll even go right in on buttercream because most cure with a very minimal inhibition HOWEVER If I was painting straight onto JimmyGel or Lexy Line I would either cleanse and buff or flat matte because those both have more inhibition once cured Does that help?

    Love it! I haven’t seen someone cure a base layer of JimmyGel before going in with a slip layer and structure. Do you think your method improves adhesion, or is it just to build structure more gradually? I like JimmyGel but I’m interested in trying out the lexy line hard gels for similar reasons you mentioned. Thanks!😊

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz 6 месяцев назад

      Hey! I actually think it does a few things - the most definite being that it tells the structure layer where to go (and where not to go). I also have very sensitive nails so it does help "insulate" ever so slightly from the structure layer. I also think even though Light Elegance is very safe and lab tested that we still shouldn't apply any gel (even clear) in super thick layers to ensure safe curing. So, by making sure the base layer is *chefs kiss* cured to perfection, and reducing the amount of gel in the structure layer, it makes for a slightly safer process. I'm all about removing risk! I hope this makes sense <3

    • @gracem16
