    Yes it is better than speed 400. I own speed 400 but Himalayan has more mechanical clattering sound from engine. Speed 400 has more refine engine till 110 km/h speed and that’s actual cruising speed while travelling and this is also very good city bike. If someone want to buy this bike wait for another 1 year to give Royal Enfield to solved minor issue’s in bike and there engine refinement because they already done with older Himalayan 411 first 2 year issues resolved in 3rd year bike lots.

    Hello...tbh ur review on this bike has been honest so far...i myself had a test ride today but i dint like the low end on the 450 and i am confused between this and speed 450...i stand around 169 cm (5.7 ishh) ...what wld u say which had a better package overall...guerilla 450 or the speed 400

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  Месяц назад

      If you plan to use your bike mostly on free open roads or highways, get the Guerrilla.
      But if your usage is mostly in city and daily commutes, pick the Speed 400. That engine is definitely more responsive and friendly for daily use.
      Guerrilla’s engine is better suited for highways.

    The media ppl are just hyping about the tyre size
    But the problem wd it is availability of tyre size from the manufacturer's and also price is also way high
    In order to change both the tyre a person has to spend 25k ig
    Which is not ideal for all the people

    And finally Triamp 400 is better than Gorilla 450 ….rings a music in my ear…I don’t mind the road presence and distance service station since it’s only 16000 km or for a year only once in service. I like the smoothness, breaking, colour, built in quality, and the exhaust Sound every thing is beautiful in Triumph 400. I love the big size road presence in Gourilla, bit not comfortable with breaking in my first test drive seems ok but I am going for speed 400.

    so for city the long strokes are better due to the good bottom end??? so tbh i would wait for goldstar 650 that will be a little pricey but will give same mileage and lots of low end torque

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  Месяц назад +2

      There’s a difference in the way torque & power is delivered in single and parallel twin engines.
      A 300cc parallel twin engine can sustain 25kmph in 3rd gear, however a similar or higher capacity single won’t.
      Regarding the Goldstar 650, it will definitely be worth the wait. I too am waiting for it.

    Just curious to know, if I replace the 15T front sprocket of Speed 400 with the 14T sprocket of the Scram 400x, then what changes it will bring to the bike? & how will it be useful to the Rider ?

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  Месяц назад

      A bigger front sprocket (or a smaller Rear sprocket), would result in lower final drive ration which helps you get better top speed, however you will lose initial acceleration.
      If you want better acceleration (bottom end) and you are ready to sacrifice the top end a bit, then you increase the rear sprocket size by going 2 teeth or more higher.
      Since the Scrambler 400X is designed for off the road usage, Triumph has equipped it with smaller front sprocket for better grunt at low end and for better tractability.
      I hope this helps.

    Can it handle the potholes really well? unlike the Hunter 350 which feels every bump and its horrible.

      @FTRClub  Месяц назад +1

      Oh definitely yes. I was pleasantly surprised by the manners of the SHOWA suspension. It felt so good then throughout the video I ended up jumping over speed breakers. It takes up potholes really well.

    • @FTRClub

      You can expect better 33-37kmpl if you ride it gently. At triple digit speeds the fuel economy drops below 30kmpl.

    respect your opinion but i have to disagree, G450 is better designed, engineered and well thought than speed400. fit and finish is equally good as speed400, just that RE intentionally dont cover some parts or leave as it is without finishing for ruggedness.
