Well.....in all fairness it's generally Sony's audio products that have terrible names. Just numbers and letters as the name. Outside of that they do name their products.... PlayStation, Xperia, Bravia, Walkman, Alpha, Aibo, Airpeak etc....
For reasons best known to themselves they just refuse to name their audio products properly 🤷🤷🤷

Sony has a great advantage for making their first car because they are already a pioneer in various fields, They just need to implement their prowess from every field to this automobile. They are well known for audio and sound, camera and sensors, Bravia tech and not to mention PlayStation.
Very true. If they can harness all of their strengths and manage to successfully combine them all into a single product such as this EV they could very well have their next PlayStation.
@@Sabundy Sony needs to play to play it right from the start not like their xperia division which had half baked products after 2015 and were seemed dated according to that year's competition. Thankfully now sony is on the right path in their mobile division and started making niché products for specific type of customers and now that division is making profit for Sony after so many years of continuous loss.
This is my dream Sony car with Bravia 4K, Sony A1, Sony HT-A9 surround, Sony PS-X and VAIO connect. Only thing I don't like in this car is that fixed steering...Must be fully autonomous to enjoy those features. They should have made the steering collapsible or hidden..lol..😁I'm day dreaming too much.
Yeah you are. A fully collapsible steering wheel is a ridiculous idea until level 5 autonomous driving is reached. You will need to quickly grab that steering wheel to intervene in emergency situations..you don’t want it to be hidden or retracted.

今は日産リーフに乗っていますが、あと6年13万キロのバッテリー保証が切れて、寿命を迎える頃に、これが市販化されていたら、次も日産のクルマを買うか、SONYのクルマを買うか絶対悩むと思います。
1997年に日産とプレーリージョイEVのバッテリーを開発していたソニーが、村田製作所にバッテリー関連の技術を売却して撤退した所から、再びEVに戻って来ると言うのもすごいなと思いました。
ある意味、時代を先取りし過ぎていて、今やっと時代が追い付いたのかも知れないですね。

@@manuelp7472 I will say that Tesla's at this current point in time are the safest cars one can drive. I'm not a fan of US cars but I personally like Tesla. I would love to compare a Tesla to any other EV but most EVs just aren't there yet. Overrated or not Tesla is the only good option for EV.

They better incorporate ANC to this cuz they do make one of the best ANC headphones in the market
Apprently they have done that. An interview several months ago with the lead engineer on the project said that the headphone ANC tech is inside the car to make the interior more quiet.

When it gives "CAR ERROR" you just need to remove battery, press "Home+Start+Parking buttons" in same time and plug back the battery to make soft reset, it's a Sony tradition. :D

Maybe it will come with a latest PS console for its own ICE system.
Will it come with Apple CarPlay and conversely, will the rumoured Apple car also come with the Android operating system? I only hope that both Sony, Apple and any other electronics manufacturer that will enter the automotive market will not try to lock people into their systems as they have with their traditional product lines.

first follow the news , second they testing and making an ev, the vision s could come in 2024
@@Ricardo29j this time they maybe seriously working as world is heated with electric vehicles but I just wrote that about 2020 reveal and I know that they are testing and planning to get on roads and hope to see their presence in every country sooner
@@SaiTeja.Simhadri the cars are prototype but is an functional vehicle to sell to person but they are testing and learning from others, so optimistic the car could come in 2024 max 2025 . the only problem is the tools because sony doesn't have the experience to built car so they need to help of other manufacturers, and they need to get the car to be sold at profit and at cost of 40k to compete, so most of the technology like 60% of the car sony can intregate with car and the rest is profit of the other manufacturers that built the car. lets hope that the motors and battery are efficient, when i say efficient i mean in range but durability they all are because by the time they release they already using even better batteries, i know that todays car are using even better batteries even the base model 3 is using but the long range aren't but will see how this goes many things can change in 3 years.
i think sony is working on this car for almost 2.5 years i guess because 2020, and they made a second car in just short period of time is promising that they now just need to resolve how they going to produce and get parts, that is the hard challenge so maybe 3 years from now
