@yamantakagod what you dont know is from Mauritania to ethiopia all nomads eat raw meat especially nomads dry age them to preserve why when you cook you lose all the nutrients its risky eating raw meat ofcourse higher chance of getting worm or bad bacteria but when you have healthy animals and your butcher knows what he is doing and the consumer that is ok the gain outweighs the risk.
Glad you are visiting Ethiopia. After Kitfo either drink coffee, lemon infused hot tea, areke to digest it. Avocado will only slow down the digestion since it's a meal on its own. Kitfo is made with kibe ( butter), mitmita (contains dried chili peppers, korarima seeds (Ethiopian cardamom), cumin seeds, green cardamom, black pepper, allspice, dried ginger, dried garlic, cloves, cinnamon and coarse salt.), korerima (black cardamom) and chew (salt).

Raw meat in Ethiopia is OK. Because it is consumed fresh. Meat is eaten raw only in the same day the cattle are slaughtered.
