    Very insightful upload.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
I have heard about how Muslims bury the dead within 24 hours but had forgotten.
Its also nice to know that there is a very human quality to all people of ALL origins. (Typically)
Its easy to forget when at times we seem to focus, or dwell on the bad things that certain religions encourage.

Well said. Thank you for sharing. I think it takes a good person to accept such a harsh speech with restraint!!

Thanks for sharing this....and I'm sorry for what happened to you at your father's grave; that's deplorable. I find religion is one of those things that seemingly gives people "license" to make assumptions about people without even knowing them...as you discussed in the video, especially at times when you are vulnerable. I'm so glad however that you had the warm reception of the masses gathered there....to me this is the "real" humanity. Peace.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am really sorry you had to go through that. That was inappropriate of him. I do aggree with how you summed it though.

Thanks for that Muslim/atheist video, you hear about atheists getting murdered in Islamic countries, so that was quite a surprise to see that guy ask that Mullah some questions in a room full of Muslims. I doubt i could have done that.

Sorry about your father's death and your bad experience with the imam. It's heartening to hear that it hasn't spoiled your compassion for muslims.

All I could think of at the start of this video was "I need some excuess to drink some stuff... Oh right I can make a video!". =P But then you pulled out the peporoni and threw me off completly, so there goes my conspiracy theory.
Anyway, seems this video is locked in some emotional memories, obviously wont mean much if anything coming from a stranger but I am sorry for yer loss. Also that it had to have such a mixed emotional effect of being both incredibly nice people and then also the ruined moment by the leader.
As usual good video, interesting and I guess I will wish you a good day!

@fsx23 Good video; illustrated well the contrast between the benefits of the 'community' side of religion and the poison that comes from dogma in it. Keep making the videos.

Sad about your father being estranged from people shortly before death.
I am sure the imam you mentioned was trying to do the best for you in his eyes. Though I do agree it was perhaps inappropriate at the time but it sounds like the community at that mosque are genuinely wonderful people. Your story was so touching.

Recently my father passed away and there was a Memorial service arranged at his church which was very nice of these people. Of course, I attended this service and one person after it was over basically said to me that I should get together with him and start to study the Bible and get closer with God because it's what my father would have wanted. I was disgusted with this notion especially since I know that my father would have actually wanted to make decisions for myself. So I feel as if I know kinda what you went through in an instance.

First, I'm really sorry that you had to go through that, I agree, that isn't something that anyone should ever have to go through.
Second, when it comes to attacking Islam. I'll argue against it all day long to some people, and I have absolutely no respect for the religion itself, but I also have a whole lot of Muslims friends (Nashville has a pretty big Muslim presence) and I'll end up defending friends of mine against others in an argument (or with a Mosque in the area that the Christians keep trying to block, although I think they ultimately failed at blocking it) and I've been labeled as Muslim by some of the Christians, or I get the whole "Atheists an Muslims are working together to destroy Christianity" thing from them. And its annoying. But in the end, I've found far more Muslims (at least locally) that are willing to have an actual discussion about religion that stays productive (for the most part) than with Christians.

I'm sorry about your dad. That imam clearly had some strings attached to the service he was performing.

As a recovering alcoholic, this was hard to watch. I sorta wanna encourage you to chug your whole beer, take shots like a boss, and drink your wine straight from the bottle. But no. I daren't. Nice shot glass, though. Sorry about what happened. I wish you the best of luck in confronting Islam. I think a lot of atheists feel out of their depths with it, because they are not as familiar with that book or the culture. The literary reference points and the whole archetypal landscape are different. It's like trying to punch in zero gravity. Also, there is that hyperbolic association with the worst elements that doesn't do justice to the side of rationality in argument. It can be unduly ad hominem and most people really are nice. Take care. I look forward to watching and learning from your videos.

The pepperoni proves nothing...it could be pork or beef (sorry, from Iowa...we take our pork seriously :p). Now eating a pound of BACON. hehe
Nice touch with the "halal" stuff...but I've known plenty of back-sliding muslims, so drinking alcohol & eating pork really don't prove anything.
That said...I've never thought that you were (a muslim). :-)
Keep up the great work...I enjoyed your (previously posted) vid about the guy taking on the Imam. Here in A'merka...we take for granted that we (probably) won't be harassed, bludgeoned or killed for our beliefs. That bloke is either mentally challenged, or has the largest set of testes available (I believe the latter). Either way...I hope he is ok. 200-600 years ago we were fighting the same fight against x-tianity (with similar circumstances). My thoughts go out to the guy.

I'm sorry I didn't empathize with you about the death of your father. I experienced the death of my father not to long ago. It's hard to move on for many people.

Bud Light Lime isn't real beer and pepperoni can be made from beef... I'm not convinced.

How do we know it's vodka or the wine? The bottles were clearly previously opened. You could have filled them with water. Also Bud Light Lime is not alcohol, it's not even beer. Good day sir! Oh I almost forgot, the peperoni was tofu. Now, good day sir!
