    Nice dude!!! Great strategy changing to that brighter blade In lower light. I just knew looking at that eddy you caught the fish from that there would be one there. Glad you had success! Awesome little trip and fun video. 🤘🤘

    Great work Marty! I knew you’d get into some eventually! Like I told ya before… just keep on casting.
    For brookies I like to cast with the current, and let the fly or spinner swing slowly with the current. There not too much reeling involved. Just cast it at a downstream 45 & close the bail.
    Depending on the flows & speed, you will have to reel slowly, or accordingly as to not get snagged on bottom.. but move it as slow as possible & you’ll get smoked!

      @@martymorissette yep! The seam is the line where the current and slack water meet. Like where you’d do a hard eddy turn. They hang out there waiting for food in that transition area.

    great work! you put in the time and effort and that's all you can really do. Brook trout fishing is by far my favouite and there is nothing wrong with pan size brookies. I'm with chance, look for cover and pools at the end of rapids where they will sit to catch food flowind down stream. Small meps, #1 in silver you can never go wrong. ;)'

    Nothing wrong with those brook trout for size , perfect size for the frying pan anything over 10 inches is almost too big, now don't let that comment think I don't like bigger trout. I just get a good grip and knock the fish head on the thwart or gunwale for dispatch. and nice to see you wet your hands before handling, I try not to handle the fish much at all when releasing. , pictures taken in the water still on the hook and I am using more barbless hooks even my my flies which I am getting into, its my second year at fly fishing and tying flies.

    • @renatoborgesa6018
      @renatoborgesa6018 Год назад

      @Marty Morissette you can use it as a leader or even better is to fill all your spool with it, the idea is that the trouts don't see the line and fluorocarbon is almost invisible inside the water
