In all of these videos one of the guitarists is really low in the mix. It's a lot more noticeable in Goliath.
I think it's about the low mixing of the second guitar... that's all
I hear it too (or rather, don't hear it). I listen to their disks at least once a month if not more often, and there's a bit missing. Not that the performance is bad (it's fantastic), but it's like a piece of the puzzle is missing.

Don't get me wrong. I love karnivool. As a drummer though, I wish his snare had more ring and resonated more. It's really dry sounding.
The mixing doesn't sound so great, so that prob has something to do with it.
