justanother2sday I got the game on release day. That game came out in 2013, and I’ve been stuck on that boss for *SIX* years! I’ve never beaten the boss therefore I’ve never beaten Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Which is sad. :c

When I started and was going to play, I saw the Possessor Ghost and thought, “What is he going to possess?” Then he possesses ice and turns into that thing. I had to battle it for at least 3 hours,
What triggered me is that you always miss the shot when there is only one piece of ice left and then he refreshes his stupid ice armory I hate that stupid piece of Shi* so much I never got past him and I was stuck there for like 2-3 years now.
This Boss triggered me too I got the game since release he took me a Week or Hours to beat him sometimes I got dizzy from his Stupid spin and I got two times Gameover because of the Bomb meter but when I beated him it was so good but I say this Mansion is much shorter as the others but I liked it.

Its so annoying! The thing keeps getting farther away making it harder it hit! Its ice shield regenerates! And you have to worry about the gun over heating which would cause a gameover!
I beat this after like 6 attempts. It's mostly luck, however, the futher away the face is the higher you should aim your shot. This is the worst boss in the game.

For someone as broken as I am, I physically cannot enjoy something if I am put under pressure in the form of a time limit, no matter how enjoyable it would be without that time limit. So I'm sure glad SOMEONE can enjoy it, unless that was sarcasm.

I mean, your fighting a giant ice wall going down a deep horizontal downwards slope on a slowly overheating gun that is also keeping you alive. I bet the possessor *knows* this too. When you miss a shot, it laughs, knowing that your on a time limit. Or at least that’s what I think. I only have two complaints about this boss, One is the reused cutscene everyone’s talking about, and the other is that I feel like the music could be a little more intense. Edit: okay well I was only thinking of the 1st phase music, it’s totally intense enough
Are there any tips that someone to give me to make this boss easier? I am completely HORRIBLE with the timing to knock the ice chunks off. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
shewred possessor isn't THAT hard, but you need to know what you're doing and have a good timing, otherwise he's unstoppable. He's the 3rd hardest boss for me.
Fucking hell, this game gets so shitty towards the end. They start throwing new mechanics at you, like this fucking gem, without explaining how they work, as if that's a puzzle. And on top of it, there's next to no feedback. Half the time, I shoot the ghost in the mouth, and it makes a sad noise. instead of blowing him up. What did I do wrong? Can't tell, because the fucking game can't get its shit together and explain mechanics before forcing them on you.
I think people are overexaggerating how terrible this boss is. I beat it on my second attempt while taking zero damage. I will say though, that it's a very poorly designed boss, just like the stupid staircase. It's more difficult than the staircase, but that doesn't make it any more or less fun. Both are lame.

As a kid I believed that the color change of the ghost wasn’t canon so that scene didn’t bother me
