Come along with us on our two week vacation to the Mennonite hotspot of Sarasota Florida. (Can't believe I just wrote that, but yes, I'm a basic Mennonite girl after all!) This trip was full of adventures, friends, girl time, family time, amazing food, and so much more! I even got to meet up with my RUclips friend @LynetteYoder !

Can you do a video on how you prep life when leaving your kids? Would love to see that info. Also the prep for the road trip, activities, snacks etc. Also the program you follow for helping your kids sleep at night. Love how much fun you have with your family , such a joy to watch! We have actually gone there and went to the shops and restaurants that Lynette recommended in her past videos. And Lynette, I had to actually re-wind and listen to you talk in the car over and over. You are so full of charisma and charm and fun. I really did not recognize your voice at all. You seem so quiet and reserved on your videos. I truly loved this video and all the beautiful things you shared...especially your smiles! A night time drive to FL is the best...you have the road to yourselves! Your children had a wonderful time, as did all of you! There was so much to do and see...lots of entertainment for the children! It was nice that you could stay two weeks, but it will be good toe home again!

I am in UK. So miss holidaying 8n Florida. We actually got married in Eustis. America is such a huge country. I thought driving 8 hours to Cornwall was bad. Your brave with all those youngsters. Hope you all feel recharged and refreshed. Thank you for sharing x
I love that you made time for just you even though you were with so many people. I need to remember this when we go on a week long family reunion this summer. I have always felt like I can't get away by myself when it's a family vacation but I need to be alone some or I am really crabby by the end. Some of my introverted kids could use time alone as well. My favorite vacation was when I went to Arizona with my husband when he had a work conference there. I had the days to myself when he was at the conference. I could read, nap, lay by the pool, take walks, whatever I wanted. Then we had each evening together. I came home so refreshed.

I live in the southern end of Sarasota County.I love to see video of what people who come here on vacation do to get ideas where to take folks when we get company. We once had the world's most expensive ice cream cones on St Armands Circle! They charged us $14 for 2 cones with one scoop each in them.So $7 per scoop for vanilla ice cream. Now we joke about going to St Armands for an ice cream when we get our Social security checks.

So fun! We went on a vacation down the Gulf Coast of Florida for about 2-1/2 weeks last May and also went to Sarasota. We went to some of the beaches and we went to the ice cream truck you showed on here that you recommended on one of your videos from last year. We LOVED it! We also went to the Der Dutchman two days in a row. I used to live in Pennsylvania and loved having PA Dutch food again. :)
Definitely falling behind on house work in this season I'm in. Agree with you Lynnette! Also love how you make eye contact with the people you're talking to, Megan.

Loved it! My brother lived there for 20 years & always loved our visits. We loved the museums especially the Barnum & Bailey one . My kids were little ones at that time. Made me homesick for FL
