The pull cable is if your battery dies, it opens the front door so you can get to the hood release. There is a lock cylinder above the rear License plate to pop the hatch, access the cable to open the door, so you can open the hood, to jump start it lol

Yes tall people problems. I'm 6'6" and about 210. But I don't fit well in alot of my cars I've owned in my early driving experience. Thankfully my 2004 wrx wagon has pretty darn good leg room and seat adjustability.
The driver door release is for getting into the car if the battery dies. The drivers door only has an electronic pad to open the door so you need a fail safe to get into the car. There is a key slot above the license plate and that pops the trunk lid and then you pull the door release to get into the car.

If you're curious about the door latch in the trunk I believe it's because if your battery dies you can't open the doors because they're buttons that need power. But you can open the trunk with the physical key. So to get in the car you can pop the trunk, then pull the latch and go in the door instead of having to crawl to the front seat throught the trunk! At least that's how it is in my C6z.
It doesn’t change the delay . It already shifts fast and the tune will make it shift faster but the delay from when u click the paddles and when it actually shifts won’t change

There's no keyhole for the front doors. There is a key hole to the right of the license plate under the rear hatch to the right of the rear hatch release button. A key is in the key fob - part of the silver top. Press a little release on the FOB and it pops out. If your FOB ever quits working, use the key to open the rear hatch and pull the lever to open the door. Love the car/color btw. Side note: if your FOB ever quits working or isn't recognized as within distance to start the car, you can insert the entire FOB into a slot on the right of the steering column - where you would normally put a key. Unfortunately, there's a reason I know these things...

The first thing you need to do is send your tcm trans control module to hp tuners, it was the first thing I did to my c7 z06, it got rid of the delay completely, it shifts like a mofo now, no more bouncing off the rev limiter 👍🏼
I'm 6'5" and 285#'s and have absolutely no problems with my C4 Corvette with a 6 speed and they are smaller than a C7 Corvette. I would prefer the automatic in a C7 Corvette. Nice car and congrats!

Let;s say your battery dies. You have electric doors. Son on a normal corvette with the battery under the hood, you cant get to the hood release. Now your ONLY key hole on the vehicle is above the rear license plate. So you have to open the trunk to get in. You then have to pull those handles in the trunk to open the cab to get to the hood release to gain access to the battery. In the Z06 you don't have to open the doors, but they arent going to remove that feature just for the Z06 or ZR1.
The release in the trunk is there to open the door in the event the battery dies and you cannot open the door using the electronic touch pad “handle”. There is a key hole located above the license plate to manually open the trunk as well.

Sweet car. I bought a 2016 C7 Z06 3LZ with the Z07 package in 2018. I think it had a window sticker of like 107 or 109. I paid 67500. Sold it to a dealership in 2020 for 70. I wish I had kept it.
To close the hood on a corvette hold it by the middle and drop it about 10-12 inches or so from closing. It'll slam shut perfectly every time so you don't have to fight one corner latching and the other not. I've had 3 vettes.
You should take a look at what Cleetus McFarland did with his C7. He is also tall, but he changed out his drivers seat, and said it made a world of difference.

I think it’s a mechanical door release if the electric latch mechanism fails. The door release is an electric button right. So if it fails or has no power the mechanical release in the trunk opens the door.
You can get that shifting tuned. Some one actually died being trapped in their Corvette because of a dead battery and didn't know about the pull cable.

Wanted to add, do be careful with the napa leather, over on the passenger side it can start bubbling up because it wasn't glued on correctly. It also can start separating from the front vent as well. Another thing to watch is the wheels on the '16-'17 Z06 and GS vettes can sometimes be prone to cracking, or warping. Just things to look out for but love the vette nonethess
I’m 6’4”, 300lbs. I had a c6 manual and it was a really tough car for me to drive. I ended up selling it 8 months after I bought it just bc I was too uncomfortable

With the "Utah Crew" you essentially have 5 Channels and 6 people (You guys, Strad, Luke, Baby Burlacher, & Stefan) .. when I see you guys appear in each others videos on your solo channels it makes me think of the Avengers .... all have solo movies, but there's ALWAYS a cross over. I love how you appear in each others recent videos, the crossover appearances are hard to keep track of now, it happens so much. Examples: Burlacher in James recent video, Stefan in Luke's recent video... I think you guys should have a joint channel called "U-Vengers" and do once a month AVENGER level cross overs and have all 6 of you in the video doing something hilarious or stupid with crazy cars. Hey Burlacher, to solve all those issues, get an ECU and Transmission software upgrade.
It doesn’t change the delay . It already shifts fast and the tune will make it shift faster but the delay from when u click the paddles and when it actually shifts won’t change
It also depends on what driving mode he is in. The shift points/time change with the different driving modes

Have you tried setting the car into sport or race mode? I think that changes the shift speed. If my old M4 can do it, I’m sure the C7 can too.
