If I search something on Amazon and Dan Rodgers videos appears on that, its 100% sure that He is going to get my click. I really appreciate how much efforts you put into your videos and how easy, you make it for your audience to understand the concepts. Everytime a relevant question/ambiguity pops up in my mind during the video, I get my answer in the next 2-3 minutes. A BIG THANKS to you. Keep doing what you are doing. Again, I really appreciate your teaching skills. I wish you success and peace!!
I always stop what I'm doing when I get notified about you videos great subject like always I always go back to your content as a reference good job bro. I'm seriously thank you
Spot on video Dan! I have a QR code instead of an insert card and it works very well. It directs the customer to download an e-book. The landing page is just a form to filll out. This allows me to have a direct contact to the customer, and THEN, I ask for an honnest review by email. It works well, but I wish more customers downloaded the e-book. It's a great/safe way to offer more value to the product and know your customers though.
Thank you, Dan.This video clears up a lot of confusion for all new sellers! Product regulatory(Warning labels, Certification, etc) is another confusion that bugs us.
This new video on reviews is outclassed you are doing great as usual. I requested you to please make the video on cash flow management and inventory management. It's a serious problem for PL sellers. Please make a video on profit-making first. Thanks
Great topic and not covered enough Ahtisham, an update on this could be solid, thanks for the suggestion, for now, I do have one I made a while back here: Starting capital and cash flow: ruclips.net/video/da-YFrbY6fo/видео.html Specifically on profit analyis: ruclips.net/video/z9gnjcJez3I/видео.html Older video on cash flow and inventory management (this likely needs some updates): ruclips.net/video/SzWRMQetrzE/видео.html
Hi Dan, thank you so much for this, you’re very talented in delivering information clearly and concisely. I received some seller feedback but I think the customer wanted to leave a product review, is there any way I can get them to change this?
Hi Dan, Great Video -- Keep it going 👍 I read the ToS clearly, they have not mentioned anything about freinds -- they specifcially mentioned about family and employee(staff) but not friends -- what do you say about that?
Hi Dan, thank you for making this video. I am just going to keep it simple and use the Amazon request a review button in manage orders tab. A problem I run into is I try and use the button but It won't allow me to use it as of yet. It states you can't ask for a review within 5 to 30 days, but the person had already ordered the product and it's been more than 5 days and the button will still not work. I'm unsure what this problem is
Hi Dan, thank you very much for the video! I have one question. If I sell my book for free for lets say first 3 days and people buy my book within this time frame, will such reviews count as 'verified purchase'? And second question - as I understand I can't ask people to review my book, but I can still advertise it and post information about it on Facebook, LinkedIn etc, am I correct?
You mentioned that I can tell amazon to delete the review if it s a Seller Feedback instead of a Product Review. Do you know if that review goes to the original Seller feedback or it s deleted for good? :) Thank you Dan!
Hi Dan I have two questions.. 1. ''What else is not allowed?'' What do you mean for regulation number 3? Is it my e-mail and phone number that are not allowed and where? 2. You said that lead magnet is highly recommended to get via e-mail rather then a link to my landing page, then in the insert card section you said it is better to put a link on an insert card rather via e-mail.. can you explain please?
Thanks for this video. There is a button in Seller Central Acoount who says 'Share Storefront', do you think we can send this link to few people in order to get those first reviews?
Thanks Dan for your amazing content. Are you allowed to include a physical free gift in the package so that customers are impressed which can lead to good review?
Hey Eliezer, yes, I have done this strategy to organically over deliver, how well it works for reviews is hard to judge but it can only help. I recommend keeping it to something small and LIGHT that just fits your existing packaging - so it does not increase size/weight and FBA fees
Thanks for the great video. How do you automate the request review button? So far I’ve been doing it manually seven days to three weeks after purchase. How can I automate that?
Hi Dan, another great video!! I recently had a negative review from a customer that received a counterfeit product from after purchasing from my listing that was hijacked. Amazon didn’t remove the hijacker from my listing until I organised it to do so but now I have a permanent negative review comment that clearly states that the product didn’t arrive in the original brand packaging as shown in the listing... which clearly proves isn’t my product. how can I get Amazon to remove that comment or acknowledge the fact that I am getting hijacked on my listings as I now have another different hijacker that I am dealing with. This time I ordered their products but it is going to take a month to arrive apparently. I feel like I can never get in touch with amazon and opening a case seems like a mission impossible. My rankings and all the ppc advertising I spent money on has gone to waste and I feel like just giving up on the product... before you mention brand registry... I just wanted to see if it was even a successful product before I invested any further... plus they said it really still won’t keep the hijackers out completely. Any tips?
you can open a case with Amazon and describe your issue that your competitor want to hijack at your listing, amazon check if mostly clicks from one IP, AMAZON block him and maybe return your spending as well
Great content as usual. A Quick question Dan, is it still allow to add a gift with our product? I am adding a gift that Will not be on the listing. The customer Will discover it when receiving the product. Should i cancel that?
if you already mentioned it in your listing so it's alright or if you uploaded a photo with your product so no worry, otherwise you can do these things or remove the gift
Honestly, I don't believe those stats one bit. I know many, many, many people who don't look at anything other than the main product photo before deciding to purchase.
Yes vapotrini, I am a big advocate of optimizing main images and split testing main images. Image, Price, Review Numbers are all vital for the click. The nature of reviews are often key for the conversion, especially higher priced items. Those figures are also online, in general, so not specific to Amazon alone.
I did add them Michael, that's odd, they may be far to the right if you are watching in small/theatre mode. I will link them now in description as well

Thanks, Dan for your valuable video. We can add in the product package a thanks Card with asking the customer for feedback.

question related to PPC. What if a competitor hires someone just to click on your product all day so your PPC bill is outrageous?
you can open a case with Amazon and describe your issue that your competitor want to hijack at your listing, amazon check if mostly clicks from one IP, AMAZON block him and maybe return your spending as well

What are the chances of having problems if you incentivize reviews (5$ gift card)
you have to mention in your listing or upload a photo of this gift card along with your product
